Soak up the Sun

Well summer is here and life is good. Time to soak up the sun. Notwithstanding the difficulties and the frustrations of the moment, I still have a dream.

From the mountains and streams to the oceans and lakes, BC is still a beautiful place. The gang war has affected us. Organized crime spreads it's grip on our province like an octopus spreads it's tentacles. As soon as one puppet club is cut off another one springs up to take it's place.

Yet times are changing. Some may live in fear but they are no longer living in ignorance. We are starting to see who the real puppet master is for what they really are. As a result society is getting fed up and starting to speak out. Anonymously perhaps but people realize that ratting out a rat isn't being a rat at all. Burring your head in the sand and looking the other way is.

Too many people are dying and going missing. If we fought wars in trenches on foreign soil to protect someone else's freedom, how much more so are we willing to fight to protect our own home.

Nevertheless, everything has it's time and place. Kelowna is a beautiful place. So is Vancouver. Let's get outside and soak up the sun.

Where is the love?

Woman no cry.

Redemption Song.

And for the wanna bees out there just live your life:

Seems as though you lost sight
Of what's important when depositin'
Them checks into your bank account
And you grow up in poverty

Your values is a disarray prioritizin' horribly
Unhappy with the riches 'cause you're piss poor morally
Ignorin' all prior advice and forewarnin'
And we mighty full of ourselves
All of a sudden, aren't we?
