Bill McKinnon and Dave Habib

Why on earth would the head of the RCMP in Kelowna give Dave Habib a letter of reference? That is beyond absurd. He can’t claim ignorance like Pat Fogarty who is simply out of touch with reality. He knows Dave Habib was charged with assaulting a peace officer in 2001. He knows his brother Mike and Sam have been charged in a huge Oxycontin fraud.

He knows his other brother Dale is the president of the Kingpin Crew and was charged in a double murder in Calgary and Kelowna. There was a publication ban on that trial but the decision has been released. The charged against Dale were stayed, he wasn’t found innocent. The people who were convicted of being hired to do the murder testified in court Dale hired them but didn’t pay the full price. Since it was their word against his the charges against Dale were stayed. Postponed until a later time if and when more evidence came forward that would be enough to get a conviction in court.

Dale had indirect connections to Britney Irving and Geoff Mesiner’s murder as well. The guy is a complete sleaze bag. Sam and Dale live right beside Dave. They’re neighbors living on the same street. Dave collected money from students to hold a boxing seminar in Kelowna. The kids stayed at Dale’s house. That is a total conflict of interest.

So this love affair between Bill McKinnon and Dave Habib is somewhat disturbing to say the least. McKinnon had it in 2006 but somewhere along the line lost it completely. Ever see the movie Braveheart? Remember when Wallace was ready to kill the guy defending the invading British King? He pulled the guy’s helmet off right before he slit his throat and saw it was his friend, Robert the Bruce. The same guy who gave him his word and promised to fight with him. He was so shocked he stepped back and sat down in utter shock, betrayal and grief. That is what this letter of reference is. It is a complete betrayal of the people of Kelowna and the people of British Columbia. Perhaps it’s time to transfer Mr. McKinnon to another province where he isn’t so conflicted.

A lot of people have been contacting me from Kelowna expressing their concerns about the Liquid Zoo reopening. They feel totally betrayed and so they should. The City shut them down by revoking their liquor license because a Hells Angels was a part owner of the establishment and the Liquor board agreed that doing business with a member of the Hells Angels made the owners not fit and proper to hold a liquor license.

Dale Habib stepped in with a bullshit argument that made no sense. He claimed that he was the previous owner that sold the club to Diapoli and the other part owners that changed the name of the club to the Liquid Zoo. Yet that was not entirely true.

He also claimed that he sold the club to the Hells Angels and the other part owners on the condition that the liquor license would be approved even though no such agreement was ever put in writing. Nevertheless, one could logically assume that if someone bought a club, they’d want the liquor license to go with it and that if the liquor license was not approved they’d likely want their money back.

However, we all know how the Hells Angels hide their business investments in other people’s names. After their clubhouse was seized in Halifax under criminal organization legislation, they opened a new one up with a different name.

Dave Habib owned Senior Frogs, which had the suspicious fire and sold it to a Hells Angel named Guy Charles Stanley who opened it up as Champagne Charlie’s. If doing business with Diapoli made the owners of the Liquid Zoo not fit and proper to hold a liquor license then doing business with Champagne Charlie made Dave Habib not fit and proper to hold a liquor license. The fact that he has reopened it up as the Liquid Zoo, not Senior Frogs is proof the Hells Angels are still involved with it and that the name on the deed is just figurative.

The reason that people in Kelowna are so upset and feel so betrayed is because how totally out of control the Hells Angels in Kelowna have become. Britney Irving and Geoff Meisner’s murder was outrageous. So was beating Dain Philips to death with baseball bats and hammers. Deranged. Joey Verma getting a VP tattoo is equally deranged. Things have gotten completely out of control. A Hells Angel jumping a police officer from behind outside another night club is yet another example how absurd Bill McKinnon’s letter of reference is. Right now the Kelowna Hells Angels are as they say ripe in iniquity. It’s like the pride and decadence before the fall of Rome. For an RCMP officer to endorse that kind of evil means it’s time for him to leave Kelowna. Period.
