Personally I don't believe life ends at death. Yet like I said I do find it easier to trust most atheists because they do good because they want to not to get some kind of reward.Dennis Watsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06736981069304416233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6576246045591350665.post-6561220201977597882012-04-09T14:31:27.935-07:002012-04-09T14:31:27.935-07:00Easter is about turkey, chocolate and unnaturally ...Easter is about turkey, chocolate and unnaturally colored eggs.

Everything else is imaginary.

Nice try tho.barrywilliamsmbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05184739751490201591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6576246045591350665.post-73717669549921088562012-04-08T11:11:39.570-07:002012-04-08T11:11:39.570-07:00Glad you liked it. Back in Belfast, they used to have a mural that said I have always believed in the right to bear arms. Implying that their quest to fight for a free republic was sanctioned by the almighty. Jesse Ventura clarified that the right to bear arms in the US constitution wasn’t just for protection of persons and property and it wasn’t just for protection against a foreign enemy. He said it was to fight against a corrupt government or secret service that tried to enslave the people.

Clearly, a man is justified in defending his family and his country. No doubt there is a time for all things. A time for war and a time for peace. Yet I do believe Christianity is supposed to be a peaceful nonviolent movement. Thou shalt not kill, love your enemies, turn the other check. Those directives are pretty clear as well. Christ did say blessed are the peacemakers. Christians or Muslims who think killing infidels is a good thing are sadly mistaken. Invading another country is wrong. Protecting yourself from an invasion is not.Dennis Watsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06736981069304416233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6576246045591350665.post-68268600431567135252012-04-07T17:34:34.452-07:002012-04-07T17:34:34.452-07:00Thanks so very much for this beautiful Post, which...Thanks so very much for this beautiful Post, which really made my Easter, and is wonderful!freddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00874780016491360565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6576246045591350665.post-32157307315963724552012-04-07T14:54:43.430-07:002012-04-07T14:54:43.430-07:00"and he who hath no sword, let him sell his g..."and he who hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one"

Luke 22:35-38trailrunner78https://www.blogger.com/profile/06694102447472594355noreply@blogger.com
