Nicholas Lucier

Nicholas Lucier is still wanted by police in connection with a lage cocaine bust in Victoria back in 2009. Nicholas Lucier, 41, was out on parole when nearly 100 officers conducted pre-dawn raids Tuesday of five locations in Saanich and the West Shore, seizing a total of 22.5 kilograms of cocaine, four high-powered handguns, two vehicles and $420,600 in cash. A stun gun, bear spray and body armour were also seized in the raids.

Eight people were arrested - four men and four women - and a Canada-wide warrant was issued for Lucier. Lucier was sentenced in 2007 to five years in prison after being caught with more than four kilograms of cocaine, two kilograms of heroin, half a kilogram of marijuana and 25 grams of crack. Police also seized $30,000 cash from him at that time.

The major investigation followed a shooting that took place in the early morning hours of May 5 in Beacon Hill park, Hamilton said. A man was shot in the knee but refused to co-operate with police.

  1. "high powered pistols", LOL, yeah the media, who know jack shit about guns, have no problem describing them this way. I have $20 that says they couldn't begin to explain to you why they are high powered. Because they're probably not. As if anyone knowledgeable talks about "high powered" or "low powered' pistols anyway. Anything to make them sound scary (er).

Never rely on someone for accurate (pun intended) information who is too lazy to learn a little about something they hate, or so willing to be disingenuous about pushing their views. I have another $20 says the person who wrote this thinks only the police are trustworthy (ROFLMAO) enough to have guns, never realizing they have just described a police state. Canada is halfway there anyway.

  2. You’re probably right. I suppose four high-powered handguns could mean .44 caliber instead of .22 or maybe they were magnums. I’d consider a .357 or .44 magnum to be a high powered handgun. Yet I’d never use that term. As you say the term high power usually refers to rifles not handguns. You caught me cutting and pasting from another article: )

  3. I would like to know how that lowlife got out of the country. Wouldn't your passport privileges be removed when you are waiting to serve time.
