Clifford Montgomery Convicted
Kelowna Capital News is reporting that Clifford Montgomery, 37, of West Kelowna who attempted to smuggle 97 kilograms of cocaine into Canada through a fruit grinding machine was sentenced Wednesday to 14 years in prison.
One source claims Todd Tyreman and Dustin Zimmerman are associates of Clifford Montgomery. They claim Zimmerman lived in Montgomery's house. Zimmerman was charged in a Regina Kelowna cocaine ring. Another source claims Clifford Montgomery is an associate of Glen Hehn.
Don't know who any of these people are. However, Mr. Montgomery ought to find a new occupation. Drug smuggling doesn't appear to be working for him. Really, trying to smuggle drugs, using a fruit grinding machine??? How dumb are these people? Usually the frontal lobe has closed by the early 20s and you mention this man is 37?
ReplyDeletePerhaps during his time as a guest of the Queen's he will find some other useful occupation. Electricians and plumbers make a nice living, don't go to jail for 14 yrs, o.k,. out in 9/10. What a waste of 10 yrs.

ReplyDeleteGLEN HEHN apparently has Good standing with the Judiciary??? His company appears to not be of the same cultural standing? !?!
Yes, I think Peter Leask was banned from doing criminal cases after that screw up. Glen Hehn was caught red landed loading 52 kilos of cocaine from His storage locker onto a truck. He claimed he didn't know what was in the boxes and Peter Leask let him off. Peter Leask should be in jail for aiding and abetting a criminal offense.
Deletesome of these people need to be tested for their I.Q.s If I went to my storage locker and found things in it I didn't recognize, the first call I'd make is to the storage locker people and then to the RCMP.
DeleteLeask did have the "latitude" to believe the defendant. If he raised "reasonable doubt", then he is acquitted, but really, 52 Ks of cocaine, in his storage locker. That is worth a lot of money and people just don't leave that laying around in a stranger's locker. Of course if others had access to the locker and it was proven they did, ........
Oh, well if the stuff weren't illegal, there would be a lot less problems about the stuff.
Oh right, like legalizing crack would reduce the number of addicts on the street getting brutalized by the Hells Angels. That in my opinion would be complete irresponsibility. Leaks should be in jail. That is why they don't let him to criminal cases any more.

ReplyDeleteFYI K.
I had heard that. Two guys from Montreal busted in Kelowna. I'm not even sure what ice is. Interesting that once again they were trying to pass something else off for extacy that wasn't what people thought they were getting.

DeleteICE is just another form of meth. Its actually meth in its purest state before they start cutting it. It is also called glass because when cooked it looks like shards of either ICE or Glass
ReplyDeleteAh right, Ice is Crystal Meth. It's hard to conceive that anything made from Drano has a pure form.
