Roslyn Cassells joins the Green Justice Party
Roslyn Cassells has officially joined the Green Justice Party and will be representing them in the Surrey civic election October 20th. Today she was outside the Guildford public library handing out free copies of the Canadian Charter of Rights. Lance, a Sullivan Heights resident was also there.
Preserving civil liberty is a fundamental principle in the Green Justice Party. Green Justice isn't all about the environment. Green Justice is all about business - sustainable business. Defending the environment is what sustainable business is all about. Like it or not, we are all connected to the environment. The air we breath, the water we drink, the entire ecosystem is interrelated.
We are thrilled to have Roslyn on our team. In the Green Justice Party candidates are free to say and vote how they want. No two people agree on every issue. However, in Roslyn's case, there is more than enough common ground for us to endorse her with full confidence. Mark my word, she is exactly what Surrey council needs. Roslyn has a lot of good ideas on how we can all coexist.
Roslyn even knows how to save the beavers while development progresses. You just put in an overflow drain so the beaver dam stops some water but doesn't flood an entire area. They do it in the US. BC has had the guideline since 2005 but rarely implements it. That is sustainable.
