Getting out of Dodge

Newsweek is reporting that "Mary Trump issued a warning about President Donald Trump's cuts to the civil service after the U.S. Supreme Court handed him a major win on Tuesday." 

"The Supreme Court handed down an 8-1 decision to stay a pending appeal, allowing the Trump administration to continue directing agencies to develop reduction in force (RIF) plans."

"The ruling will allow the administration to resume layoffs at 19 agencies. Trump has sought to cut the federal bureaucracy upon his return to the White House in January, but those efforts have faced criticisms and legal challenges from workers, unions, nonprofits and local governments who oppose large-scale federal job cuts."

OK let's back it up a bit. Remember Donald Trump's break up with Elon Musk? Trump dumped Elon Musk because he became a liability. People started to hate him. Why did they start to hate him? Because of all the layoffs of government workers.

That's not why people voted for Donald Trump. People voted for Donald Trump to build the economy not raise unemployment rates. This is how a globalist redefines cutting government waste. Reducing government waste means reducing waste not firing all the workers who voted for you. 

The national debt is a colossal concern that is a direct threat to our freedom. Interest on the debt could build a lot of schools and hospitals. After the break up Elon Musk had one good point. That big beautiful bill was anything but. Raising the debt ceiling with no end in sight shows that the Republicans are just as bad with money as the Democrats as Rand Paul pointed out. That is a bigger threat to our sovereignty that Putin or Xi Jinping.

Donald Trump is doing the same thing Stephen Harper did. Reckless cuts in some areas followed by reckless spending in others which resulted in zero debt reduction. 

The amount of money that is skimmed through government contracts is astronomical. In Canada it's SNC Lavalin.  In the US it's Lockheed Martin. Corrupt companies that under bid and over charge government contracts. That is organized crime. Vaccine royalties is another.

The government also spends a lot of money on stupid things. That's what needs to be cut. Not all the workers. For example, how much money was spent on bombs to pulverize Gaza? That's not only immoral but it's also a waste of tax dollars. How much did it cost to bomb Iran? That's the swamp. All this money going to Netanyahu is not putting America first. It's fraud. 

The saying get out of Dodge comes from the wild west where Dodge City in Kansas was a place of lawlessness. Get out of Dodge meant to leave quickly to avoid harm. DOGE was Elon Musk's acronym for firing all the government workers. It stood for Department of Government Efficiency. Firing all the government workers is not draining the swamp.
