Evidently BC Conservative leader John Rustad has finally resigned opening up a new leadership race. There's talk of popular YouTuber now MLA Aaron Gunn running for the leadership. Anyone would likely unite the party. I still don't like nuclear power. It's not clean or green. Hydroelectric power is.
Let's stop the infighting, oppose the insane Cowichan court decision and break free of the Neo Cons. There's too much at stake not to pull this together. "Stand with any man as long as he stands right and part with him when he goes wrong." We need to be more positive. Hate campaigns don't work in Canada.
As a long-time conservative supporter, I'm surprised to find myself thinking that Trevor Halford might be the leader the party needs to finally defeat the NDP. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that new leadership will bring better chances of success.
