Update: All that work for a quick finish. Ronda rushed right in, took Gina down and slipped in an arm bar. I'm glad I watched it but I have no interest in anything else Jake Paul promotes. I think Gina is at her peak with lots more ahead of her. Rhonda said after this she was going to retire. Two pioneers, we salute you.
Well today's the big day. The card starts 6:00 PM Pacific time and the main event is anticipated to start around 8:30 - 900 PM. Gina Carano is a steamy hot diva now with awesome striking skills. Win or lose she has a whole career ahead of her.
Gina was amazing in Haywire. Takes the guy out with a triangle choke then pulls out a pillow and a pistol and shoots him in the face. Real and ruthless not like the typical fake Hollywood sh*t.
Gina's a fan favorite because she stood up to Disney and the Covid lies. She posted a meme on social media that said they want you to wear your mask over your eyes so you don't see what they're doing. Then Disney said she was transphobic. Go f*ck yourself. Disney is worthless. They destroy everything now with their stupid political extremism. They destroyed Star Ways, Captain America, everything they touch turns to sh*t.
Ronda Rousey is tough and capable. She has the ground fighting experience. That's how she took Gina out the first time. We'll see how this one plays out. I just can't stand Jake Paul.

No kidding! Disney even destroyed the Muppets by making Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and all other characters watered down. They went downhill ever since Disney purchased them back in 2004. Some former Muppet Performers like Steve Whitmire and Frank Oz have gone on record saying that the Disney writers clearly don't understand the characters because the soul's not there. Both former performers have argued how Disney clearly ruined Jim Henson's legacy. Frank said "Their job is to be rebellious. Their job is to say 'Screw Disney.'"

ReplyDeleteRonda is very good. They're both pioneers. Rushing in and going for the arm bars isn't as flamboyant as a stand up knock out but it's very effective. She did receive an Olympic bronze medal for judo.
DeleteWhen Ronda was putting the arm bar on, Gina rolled away from Ronda to the outside to try and escape from it. She rolled the wrong way. When she did that it straightened out her arm which is what you're trying to prevent. Gina should have rolled towards Ronda to the inside then pull her arm back like winding up for an uppercut. Then keep rolling and keep pushing with her other hand and elbow trying to turtle the trapped arm.
ReplyDeleteSince the straight arm bar is Ronda's signature submission you'd thing Gina's trainers would have worked a little more on the defense against the arm bar. Which is a lot easier said from a keyboard after the fact then in real life when that kind of thing happens in a fraction of a second.
