Update: Allegedly moonlighted as a developer. GMAFB. He works full time as a cop, has a wife and kids and devotes a huge amount of time running an amazing volunteer group helping kids stay out of gangs. How much time does he have to devote to a property development company run by a whole list of other people. There are zero allegations that he has ever done anything shady as a police officer or with his amazing non profit organization.
The Vancouver Sun is reporting that "Fraud charges against a veteran Vancouver Police Department officer involved $3 million in losses to 19 investors in three housing developments and the kids charity he helped start, Chief Steve Rai told a news conference on Friday." 19 investors in three housing developments. The housing market has changed. A 3 million dollar loss split between 19 people is nothing. Most houses are a million dollars now.
"Rai, flanked by other senior officers, read a statement confirming reports that Kalwinder (Kal) Dosanjh, who worked for the department for 26 years, is facing nine charges of fraud, theft, and breach of trust."
I don't believe this. Kal Dosanjh is rock solid and does great work. I think the deep state is jealous of the amazing work he does. Innocent until proven guilty.

ReplyDeleteIndeed. He has legitimate former gang members speak in schools for free. The RCMP are very territorial about that gig becuase they get paid overtime to do it and do a sh*ty job. He does have several civil lawsuits with that business partner who is a developer but I think it's important to realize there are no allegations implying he did anything shady as a cop or with his awesome nonprofit. Kash Heed lied and implied there was.

DeleteHe’s been charged, not convicted, so I think the fair thing to do is let the courts examine the evidence.
