Doug McCallum enters race to save us from Surrey's Worst

Well it's official. Kevin Diakiw from the Surrey Leader already announced it but the Vancouver Province and CBC are confirming that Doug McCallum is officially running for the Mayor of Surrey. This is good news. Someone has to save us from Surrey's Worst. Linda Hepner is the last rat left in the Surrey First sinking ship. She has never been mayor before. She has been a counselor in the worst political party in Surrey's history. Worst for Crime reduction, worst for fiscal responsibility, worst for reduction of taxes and worst for listening to the people who live in the city.

Doug McCallum served three successful terms as Mayor of Surrey. He was defeated by Dianne Watts' Neo Con promising the world and delivering nothing. She promised a coalition on crime reduction. Yet last year was the most number of murders in the city's history. Ever. One of those murders was at an illegal booze can the neighbors had been complaining about but the city refused to do anything.

The murder of the Newton hockey mom was the result of endless complaints from the residents and business owners of Newton that complained about drug dealing in Newton. The city did nothing and crime in that area has escalated off the chart. The drug related violence outside the Front Room in Surrey is unprecedented. One of the Surrey fist counselors came clean and said you're right. We haven't been doing enough to confront crime in Newton. That's when Dianne Watts and the rest of the party bullied her and kicked her out.

Surrey First has been the worst in the city's history for physical responsibility. That outrageous Ivory Tower of self indulgence was a colossal waste of tax dollars that has created the biggest debt in the city's history. The Surrey Leader is reporting that the cost to run Surrey soars in 2013. Doug McCallum wants to end all these lavish trips for counselors and Judy Villeneuve objects.

Back in the day, Judy Villeneuve was a member of Bob Bose's SCE. He was considered left wing. Doug McCallum was part of SET and was considered right wing. These two political parties would fight back and forth like kids. However, left and right politics don't really apply to civic governments. There was a lot of good things that Doug McCallum did when he was in charge. Primarily his crime reduction and his confronting crack houses in Surrey. He cleaned it up completely. Now we have to follow through with that campaign and confront the crack dealers on the street. Doug McCallum is the man for that job.

Thor was cocky in his youth and received a lesson in humility. He became a better person and a more powerful super hero as a result. Let's put the mayor's gavel back in Doug McCallum's hand so he can turn the tide on Surrey Worst's fiscal irresponsibility and criminal apathy.

CBC highlighted Doug McCallum's new web site. Let's pin him down on how he intends on fixing Surrey's fiscal irresponsibility. He already said he thought the new ivory tower was a waste of tax dollars. Let's get him to commit to sell it so he can afford to hire the police he has pledged to hire. Once he commits we need to put together a card of counselors that will support him.

Chilliwack Street under siege

On the front page of yesterday's Vancouver Province was the headline that read Chilliwack Street under siege. Inside the paper the article read Petty crimes plaguing neighborhood. The article talked about all the spin off crime that was terrorizing one neighborhood all related to the public sale of drugs.

The root of the problem is that the Chilliwack neighbourhood is plagued by drug deals, prostitution, thefts. So once again we see a huge spike in property theft in an area where drugs are sold in public. This is the exact same problem the Aldergrove judicial review board had with prolific offenders like Jamie Pool committing an absurd amount of property theft and not being faced with any consequences whatsoever.

Their conclusions was that judges are the problem. The more crimes these prolific offenders commit, the less time they serve in jail. The Chilliwack article spoke with residents who said the couple lives close to a public swimming pool with a big parking lot that attracts drug dealers and prostitutes during the night.

Both the Iezzis and Walker said they feel frustrated with the RCMP response, though they don't blame individual officers. Instead, they point to a system that's overburdened with complaints about petty crime and a court system that makes it almost impossible to prosecute the perpetrators. "As perpetual victims of petty crime, we're left feeling abandoned," said Nicole Iezzi.

The problem is drug dealers which attracts drug addicted prostitution and a whole range of property theft. Chasing the prolific offenders around is like putting a finger in the dyke. The real problem is the crack dealers. They are the pimps that brutalize and exploit the sex trade workers for drug debts. We've got to stop kicking the cat and addressing the real problem by arresting the crack dealers. That is the New York Model.

So there we have it. The problem has been revealed and the pattern is repeating itself like a broken record. They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. When we look at what's happening the the DTES as well as in Whalley, Newton and now Chilliwack not arresting the crack dealers clearly is the epitome of insanity.

The article talks about how the neighbors have started to take matters into their own hands and how the police are waring about vigilantism. One resident has started posting surveillance videos of the prolific offenders that are stealing their stuff but remain on the street. Quite similar to the crookstube a Surrey resident started during their spike in property theft.

One resident talked about how they shot one intruder with a paintball gun. That's a Surrey trick. In Surrey they'd freeze the paintballs before shooting the crackheads. Although people have a right to defend their persons and property, this is confronting the symptom not the solution. The solution is arresting the crack dealers selling the drugs. When the police don't do that it makes their claim that public safety is their number one concern a bold faced lie.

Again it's not individual officers that is the problem here it is the departments mandate or should I say lack thereof. This reoccurring problem is the root of the conflict. Nevertheless, ya gotta love the video of the guys in a pick up truck giving one prolific offender a beat down. I guess in Chilliwack it's alright to be a redneck still.

Gino and the Associate

A blog reader had mentioned how they noticed a video of Gino Odjick with a Hells Angels associate on Global but I couldn't find the video at the time. Another blog reader sent it in along with some screen clips and I can see what they are talking about. I was hesitant saying anything about it because Gino is so well liked and the Hells Angels aren't. Especially a two bit associate.

This is the guy that was at the Hells Angels anniversary party in Whiterock. It's Rob Yews who was on Season 3 episode 11 of the The liquidator. Somewhat ironic how the guy on the liquidator kept asking him if the stuff he was selling was stolen. Very perceptive indeed. Rob Yews ran a "clothing" store in Yellowknife the same time another Hells Angels drug ring was busted there.

It's sad because the Hells Angels are so hated now that people understand what they're really about. We all know about Odis Garrett, Greg Domey and Kerry Ryan Renaud. Not to mention the Haney sleaze and the association with the Pickton Farm. No one likes a liar, drug dealer or anyone who runs a stolen car ring. Exploiting the homeless is nothing to smile about.

Outlaws in Saskatoon, Hells Angels visit Fort McMurray

Metro News is reporting that the police claim the Outlaws have set up shop in Saskatoon. Which is interesting since I received a report that a few Hells Angels prospects got their patch in Regina not long ago. Apparently this weekend an Edmonton Hells Angel named Scuba is visiting Fort McMurray with a couple tribal Edmonton, syndicate Edmonton and silent few. Lots of puppets selling drugs who desperately want to be a real boy one day. Get a life Pinocchio.

Irish Pride? Real Irish don't sell crack. The RA will put a cap in your ass for doing that.

Denis Chamberlain claims to be in Edmonton now. Isn't he from Quebec? Sherbrooke sure didn't have much respect for their brothers they were convicted of murdering in Lennoxville. They all contributed a portion of their drug profits into a fund to murder rival drug dealers. Get off the crack and sing a new tune like Boom Shakalaka Boom. That's Irish Pride so it is.

I guess that gas mask is to cover the stench from all that bullsh*t.

Evidently the Pride Parade was for the Syndicate's new clubhouse house warming party this week-end. Their new clubhouse is at 101 Beattie Road in Fort Mcmurray. The Syndicate must be opening a chapter in Red Deer also. There were a couple riding around with Red Deer bottoms in Syndicate colours. George Sutherland and Kristian MacEachern face drug trafficking charges.

Surrey Six Trial Closing Arguments

Kim Bolan has been extensively covering the Surrey Six trial. Today the Vancouver Province as well as the Surrey Leader both reported on the crown's closing arguments. I thought it would be helpful to go over who's left I.E. who's charged, who flipped and what the convincing evidence is. Right now Cody Haevischer and Matthew Johnston are each charged with conspiracy and six counts of first-degree murder. Originally Michael Le was also charged but entered a surprise guilty plea last year and according to today's article ended up testifying as a crown witness.

Corey Lal was apparently the intended target after Jamie Bacon tried to extort him for selling drugs "on their turf." Which of course is a fallacy since the Bacon brothers are from Abbotsford not Surrey and the Hells Angels are the ones that claim to control the drug trade. Since Jamie Bacon made confidentiality objections he is being tried separately.

Sophon Sek has been charged with manslaughter and is being tried separately as well. Kim Bolan reported that Sophon Sek was the one that had a FOB and helped the accused enter the suite without having to kick the door in.

Another suspect was also charged and plead guilty. There is a publication ban on his name and is now referred to as Person X. Not to be confused with the original Person X who became Person Y just to confuse things a bit. All the locals know who person x and y are but there is a publication ban on their names so we can't discuss it publicly. The reason being is because there are so many freaking trials this all connects with that have yet to be heard.

As far as the evidence goes, Levitz, the lawyer for the Crown stated surveillance evidence proved that Johnston and Haevischer, along with Person X, had driven to the Balmoral Towers, the scene of the murders and that the accused were in the murder suite during the unlawful confinement and murders of the victims, he said. Levitz noted evidence that Haevischer had confessed to fatally shooting three of the victims, while Person X killed the other three victims.

That's a pretty solid case. Let's not forget honourable mention to Person Y who was originally Person X and was referred to as the crown's star witness. Hat's off to the soldier who did the right thing. The Surrey Six murder crossed the line when they killed two innocent witnesses. That is not acceptable. However, the bottom line is that the Surrey Six murder took place because Jamie Bacon was trying to extort Corey Lal for selling drugs on their turf despite the fact that the Bacon Brothers were from Abbotsford not Surrey. The Hells Angels are the ones that use violence to obtain and maintain a monopoly on the drug trade and Jamie's brother Jonathon was a longtime friend of Whiterock Hells Angels Larry Amero. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out who Jamie Bacon was collecting the tax for.

The Hells Angels have been involved in the Surrey drug trade since the Surrey House of Horrors. One source claims Hal Porteous used to run a booze can for the Hells Angels near 88th Ave and 132nd Street from 1997 before he got his patch until 2000. Just like the one at 91 and 147A street Bill Fordy and Dianne Watts refused to do anything about where someone was shot.

I've heard it said that the Hells Angels are no longer involved in the Surrey drug trade. They only have one or two guys there that's all. That's all they need. In the Nanaimo cocaine bust they had one member and one associate from Nanaimo as well as one member and one associate from Ontario. The same with the cocaine bust in Spain. They had one member and one associate from Haney as well as one member and one associate from Mission. This is how they do business. One member and one associate is authorized to represent the club then they get a bunch of fringe associates like Larry Mizen to do the brutal collection work in the club's name.

Kerry Ryan Renaud was a long time Hells Angels crystal meth cook in Surrey. He worked for John Punko. You think Jamie Bacon would have tried to tax Ryan for selling drugs on "their" turf? Not a chance. Aside from the fact that Ryan would have kicked his ass, Jamie didn't have the authority to tax Ryan. Ryan was already working for the boys in Surrey.

Surrey Bomb Fraud goes to Trial

This is a picture of John Nuttall and his mother Maureen Smith. The Vancouver Province is reporting that "Nearly a year after two Surrey residents were arrested and accused of plotting to bomb the Victoria legislature on Canada Day, a pre-trial hearing for the pair opened in Vancouver."

"B.C. Supreme Court Justice Catherine Bruce, who is hearing the submissions, imposed an interim publication ban on reporting details of the arguments by defence and Crown." That is yet another criminal act. The purpose of a court publication ban is to prevent the jury from hearing evidence that was submitted to the court when they were not present. Not to censor the freedom of the press.

The Province reported that in the public gallery behind Nuttall was the accused’s mother, who traveled from Victoria to attend the hearing. “I love my son and I know that he’s innocent,” said the accused’s mother.

We all know that sometimes a mothers love can be blind. Sometimes the mother of a serial killer will say oh my son would never do that. However, in this case the evidence against her son is not only not believable but is actually fraudulent. The Vancouver Province quoted his mother as saying: "Smith said she was “really upset” with police conduct in the case and claimed that officers kept pushing her son to do something bad, but that he had refused to do so."

This is the root of the fraud. Intelligence agents manipulated a vulnerable drug addict and are trying to make it look like they saved the world from a terrorist when that is in reality very far from the truth. We know that the Canada Day bomb plot allegation is a malicious lie. He was originally arrested on March 2nd for knowingly facilitating a terrorist activity. That means their claim they save the world from a Canada Day plot was false.

The Vancouver Province is reporting that "Police allege that the accused took steps to build explosive devices and place them at the legislature, where crowds gathered on Canada Day." This allegation is a bold faced lie. They did not take steps to build explosive devices. Police agents gave them pressure cookers. When the police searched their home, they found food in the pressure cookers. They had no idea how to make bombs out of them. Period. Aside from there being no motive other than police agents trying to convince them to do something illegal, they did not take steps to build any explosives. That is false.

Clearly in this case, John Nuttall's mother has every right to stand by her son. We all should. We need to address the fact that police agents created the plot and provided materials they claim could be used to make explosives even though the suspects had no idea how to make them.

Air India was much worse. A CSIS handler helped plan the horrific event and actually did provide the explosives. CSIS still need to be charged in that case just like this one. When police agents give drug addicts weapons or explosives and pay them to say they will use them, they haven't saved the world from a terrorist, they just created one. This is a misappropriation of tax dollars.

Update: The Vancouver Province is also reporting that the B.C. Civil Liberties Association went to court Thursday, asking that B.C. Supreme Court Justice Catherine Bruce relax a sweeping publication ban imposed on pre-trial proceedings that began Monday.

The judge agreed to allow the media to report that accused John Stuart Nuttall and Amanda Korody, who are facing terrorism-related charges, are seeking a remedy for an alleged “abuse of process” on the part of authorities investigating the case. Details of the alleged abuses by authorities, however, remain covered by the ban.

They bloody well should seek remedy for the abuse of process. Unfortunately, they're in a criminal court not a civil court. The remedy they deserve would more likely be awarded by a civil court but it is certainly worth making the argument since their abuse of process is criminal.

Here's the problem. The BC Civil Liberties Union should not of had to spend money on an application to lift the ban when the ban itself is illegal and has no merit. Unless they are being tried by a jury there is no grounds for a publication ban. Obviously names of intelligence agencies' agents are withheld but that's it. Everything else falls under the Freedom of the Press.

Catherine Bruce ... I remember that name. She's the snowflake that threw out all the evidence after the RCMP acquired a search warrant, knocked on the front door to execute the warrant but didn't knock on the back door. From one extreme to the other. The good news is that she just might have the fortitude to break the cover up of police misconduct in this case. Only in this case it's not police misconduct it's CSIS misconduct just like Air India was.

Without naming police agents we need to name the intelligence agencies involved in this entrapment scandal. We know CSIS was the ones that "tipped off" the RCMP but the accused's lawyer said the disclosure stated US Intelligence agents were involved. We need to name the US agencies involved and clearly define their culpability in this criminal act.

Doug McCallum considers saving Surrey from the brink of destruction

The Surrey Leader and the Vancouver Province are reporting that Doug McCallum is considering running for mayor again. Three cheers! Before Dianne Watts turned tail and jumped ship, Bruce Ralston admitted he had been asked to run. He didn't say he was going to run he said he had been asked to run. I think he would make a fantastic mayor. He has been a great MP for years.

However, we don't have confirmation that he actually will leave federal politics and run for the mayor's office. If he will, great. If he won't we need to find another candidate. Linda Hepner and Barinder Rapsode are not it. They are pretty much both one in the same.

In April the Vancouver Sun reported that Doug McCallum, said the glitzy new city hall is "wasted taxpayers money" and said "I don't agree with it." He then explained why. He also said "the Surrey City Development Corporation was behind the city hall and civic plaza project, and McCallum calls for the corporation to be disbanded, claiming its existence creates a conflict of interest."

This is the most sound election platform this city has ever seen. We need to sell the new ivory tower city hall and use that money to pay for more police in Newton and Whalley. We also need to disband then the Surrey City Development Corporation because it is indeed a flaming conflict of interest. I don't care who does it but those are the two primary acts that need to be performed to save Surrey from the brink of financial ruin.

You wanna talk about tough on crime? McCallum was tough on crime. Crack houses are very hard to get rid of. When he was mayor of Surrey he worked with the police and the city to evict crack houses onto the street. I saw it. He kicked ass and totally cleaned up the plague of crack houses in Surrey. Diane Watts rode into office on his coattails and failed to deliver on any of her dramatic promises.

What we need to do now is arrest the crack dealers in Newton and Whalley. McCallum is the man for that job. We need to put together a card of counselors that will support him. We need to rise above partisan politics. We need to rise above partisan politics within the political parties. Confronting the crack dealers reduces over all crime. Fiscal responsibility is the life raft that will save Surrey and create a future we can be proud of. Low taxes attracts business.

Many years ago I confronted Mayor McCallum for closing the Front Room on a building technicality. I was outraged the city would turn their back on the homeless. I wasn't aware of their concerns about what the shelter had become as a result of having a needle exchange next door. The Front Room has become a violent drug house. I have spoken with many homeless who are too scared to stay there. We need to fix that. We need to address the violence at the Front Room. It's tied to the crack dealers preying on the homeless outside it.

Update: McCallum is running for mayor. Three cheers!

Sarkozy detained in French corruption probe

Sarkozy was detained Tuesday and reportedly questioned by financial investigators in yet another corruption probe. Detained sounds pretty close to being arrested but it does have the stench of political opportunism. There's no way I think Sarkozy should run again any more than Rob Ford should. The Right need to pick another candidate. The Right supports the Left when they pick such corrupt idiots to represent them.

France has always had a history of being passionate supporters of freedom. The French Revolution was based on the principles of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. The French were the ones that gave the Statue of Liberty to the Americans. Yet what's happening in France is a similar political problem that's happening around the globe.

First there's the obvious concern about political opportunism which goes both ways. One side wants to exploit the fact that there's more dirt on Sarkozy while Sarkozy was working hard to create dirt on his rival candidate. Looking beyond the opportunism, I really think we need to shun extremism. Here we have the right wing candidate that turns out to be a dirty dog, so they go and elect a socialist. That's extremism.

So if we set aside the opportunism and the extremism there are two acts Sarkozy did that we need to remember because they are important. One was Libya the other was Pakistan. Libya was obvious. Sarkozy was trying to convince the world we should trust Gadaffi with nuclear power. It's pretty obvious that he did receive campaign contributions from Gadaffi despite his denial. He was trying to sell Gadaffi a French reactor. As soon as Gadaffi decided to buy a reactor from somewhere else, Sarkozy lead the invasion trying to topple that "dictator."

Only nothing had changed from when Sarkozy was trying to convince the world to trust Gadaffi with nuclear power. If Gadaffi was a dictator when Canada helped France invade Libya, then he was the same dictator when Sarkozy was trying to convince the world to trust him. The only difference was the decision not to buy a French reactor from Sarkozy

As Canadians we need to remember that because we supported that tainted mission. A Canadian General was the poster boy that ran interference for Sarkozy's dirty deed. All this talk about Sarkozy accepting campaign contributions from a rich widow is smoke and mirrors. I don't care who that dirty dog slept with. The fact that he accepted campaign contributions from Gadaffi before he murdered him is totally within the realm of believability.

The other thing we need to remember is Sarkozy's involvement with the Karachi affair in Pakistan. That scandal dates back to 1994 when Sarkozy was budget minister in a government led by his ally and mentor, Prime Minister Édouard Balladur. The Balladur government sealed a deal to sell three Agosta 90 submarines to Pakistan for an estimated $950m. To secure the contract large bribes were allegedly paid to Pakistani politicians and military, as well as commissions to middlemen.

The key issue is whether around €2m of illegal kickbacks from the sale were secretly funneled back to France to fund Balladur's unsuccessful 1995 presidential campaign. As budget minister, Sarkozy would have authorized the financial elements of the submarine sale. At the time he was also treasurer and spokesman for Balladur's campaign.

The initial claim was that France was supposed to pay kickbacks and commissions to Pakistan for the submarines but failed to do so. As a result, “terrorists” bombed French engineers. The pivotal point is that Sarkozy set up a shell company so some of the kickbacks would be funneled back to him. He had his best man carry the cash. So he is the one that would be upset the kickbacks didn’t happen. I’m not saying he bombed the French engineers and blamed it on terrorists but I am saying he had a motive to do so and that is the root of the allegations.

Sarkozy's involvement with the Karachi affair in Pakistan isn't just about Sarkozy getting kickbacks from an arms deal. It's about Sarkozy being involved with murder under the guise of a terrorist act when those kickbacks were stopped. That is what we need to remember.

Canada Day: Where do we stand?

I noticed several Canada Day festivities going on in the various local communities. I guess I'm just a bit pessimistic but I'm really not in the mood to celebrate. Our civil liberty and our financial prosperity is under fire and the cloud of deception hangs over us.

The chorus to the national anthem states: "O Canada, we stand on guard for thee." So when push comes to shove what do we really stand for? We used to hold some pretty important values and ideals sacred. Stephen Harper promised that when he is done with Canada we won't recognize it and his Neo Con is living true to that promise. Justice, freedom, equality, fairness - these are principles we used to hold dear that Stephen Harper has crushed with his massive deception.

I am not left wing. I'm part Ron Paul Revolution without the legalization of all drugs. I believe in traditional conservative values. Protecting freedom, reducing taxes and balancing the budget. The same values Stephen Harper has violated with his tax and spend destruction of civil liberty.

Take that fleet of jets. Harper doesn't just want to buy a few jets which we likely need, he wants to buy a whole fleet of jets that won't work in the arctic from a company one of his candidates lobbied for. That's Brian Mulroney's Kickback Mountain times a thousand. We do need to be strong militarily. But buying a fleet of jets that won't work in the arctic while he cuts the Coast Guard and rolls back soldiers wages, pensions and benefits isn't making us strong militarily. If Russia send MIGS to challenge Canada we need to meet that challenge and face them head on. These jets won't do that but Boeing's Super Hornet will.

The bank bailout that Harper did but denies he did that everyone claims the banks in Canada didn't need was the biggest tax expenditure in Canadian history. The estimates start at $69 billion. It's not measurable because he is lying about it. Raising the age of retirement for all Canadians to pay for that is a criminal act.

CSEC is a criminal organization. It's mandate is to break the law and spy on people without a warrant. Building them a $1.2 billion spy palace on top of the billions of tax dollars a year they lose not to mention spend is a colossal waste of tax dollars. This really needs to be addressed. There is nothing right wing about this. This is an all out attack on our civil liberty.

Justin Trudeau has turned out to be the biggest deception of all. He voted with Harper to do away with the sacred Charter of Rights his own father gave us. Then he had the audacity to claim the NDP didn't support the Charter of Rights. In reality, it was the NDP, the Bloq and the Green Party that voted to save it when Harper and Justin voted to destroy it.

South of the 49 is even worse. The Fast and Furious scandal is worse than Watergate. Obama has sealed the documents hiding that criminal act under executive privilege. He's not allowed to do that. Nixon would never have been allowed to hide Watergate under executive privilege. He tried. The courts said no. The Obama deception is tied to the Bush Clinton fraud.

Edward Snowdon reported illegal activity and now they want to execute him for treason. That is scarey. That shows us how far from the founding principles of the US Constitution we have come. Some predicted that one day the Constitution would hang by a thread. That day has come. In this next civil war, which side are we on? Do we support civil liberty or de we oppose it? Take up our quarrel with the foe to you from failing hands we throw the torch. Be yours to hold on high. If ye break faith with us who die, we shall not sleep though poppies grow in Flanders Field.
