Mayor and Police Chief trafficking arms for the Mexican Cartel
Speaking of arms smuggling, let's see how this all relates to the drug cartels and the gang war. Eddie Espinoza, the former Mayor of Columbus plead guilty to arms trafficking for the Mexican cartel. He was arrested along with the Columbus Police Chief Angelo Vega and Village Trustee Blas Gutierrez who also plead guilty.
What I find interesting is their boldness to continue their "Operation" even when they thought the feds were on to them. Chief Vega called the feds after counsellor Blas Gutierrez was pulled over and had several guns confiscated and asked the feds for the guns back. Then a day or two later they bought more guns and had those confiscated as well.
We realize the FBI operates semi independently from the CIA just as the DEA does. Why would the police chief call the FBI and ask for the guns back if he didn't think he had the backing of the CIA?
"Why would the police chief call the FBI and ask for the guns back if he didn't think he had the backing of the CIA?"
ReplyDeleteDude, are you serious? You don't seem to understand how you damage your credibility where you need it most (the Hell's Angels and their activities) with real dumb speculation like this. Your blog provides a real public service in that regard, and then you go off into "koo-koo for cocoa puffs" land with this
constant stream of drivel about various plots and conspiracies. Stick to stuff that can be documented in that regard, there's plenty of it. Try not to sound like something out of "conspiracy theory" when you do it though. How you say something is equally important as what you say.
Do you really believe someone at CIA was supporting this shit? Pancho here didn't need the CIA on his side, he had more than enough help (although there is no reason to suppose he knew it) from BATF. If you want to spend time on an agency of the US Federal Gov't that does some hinky shit, there's your best bet. You DO know that they have been actively permitting the trafficking of thousands of weapons south to Mexico with the tacit approval of their boss US Attorney General Eric Haider (who of course absolutely never talks to his buddy Barack Hussein Obama about such things ) while at the same time
pushing the lie through the media that the majority of guns recovered by Mexican police come from the USA? Russian AK's, Brazilian and South Korean made grenades, no mention of them....
Why would he ask for the guns back? The following possibilities make a world of more sense than "the CIA did it".
a) He loses money if he didn't get them back.
b) Said money was fronted by the cartel that
employed him. These people are known to
kill people over little shit, even cops.
c) He was greedy.
d) He was stupid.
e) All of the above.
What do you think about Gary Webb’s book Dark Alliance?
ReplyDeleteI'll give it a read, just ordered a copy. Sounds interesting, but I still think CIA having these "Three Amigo's" backs is a serious stretch. From reading the description, Webb links people and facts in enough depth to get a book out of it. You base your question/suggestion on what exactly? That's right, nothing. It's hard enough trying to convince people of half the real shit that goes on out there without crying wolf. I'll get back to you when I read the book, but I'll also point out that one, or a few, CIA guys doing their own thing is different from the DDO getting daily briefings on how much blow got flown in last week. Intelligence work is by nature compartmentalized and "need to know", it's not too hard for self-starters (or cowboys, if you will) who have advantages like this in their favor to get a long ways down the road before anyone realizes what they're up to. And at that point, choosing to deal with the problem is one side of a double-edged blade, the other side being that you shut up and deny, deny, deny. If it can't be proved, and isn't acknowledged, it never happened, and anyone who says otherwise is crazy, just crazy... Welcome to the world of international intrigue. :)

Trailrunner, I do hear you, Agent K has more conspiracies (ONLY USA ones, it seems tho) than anyone I've ever met.
Ya know what to do? Just scroll past "the CIA did 9/11 stuff", and read the Gang War stuff. That's what Agent K does know about.
Yeah just scroll past it. Garry Webb did document the CIA connection to arms and drug smuggling that fueled the LA crack epidemic in the /80’s. The CIA adamantly denied it even though Garry Webb documented everything. Judge Bonner complained about the CIA bringing in a huge shipment of cocaine into Florida. The CIA adamantly denied it until Judge Bonner went on 60 minutes and documented everything. Then they finally admitted it but said it was the only time and it was a mistake.
ReplyDeleteThe CIA arms for drug trafficking was a huge operation out of Mena Arkansas involving Barry Seal. If we want to address the issue we need to confront the source. I personally don’t believe that the police chief would have asked the FBI for the guns back just because he was greedy or stupid. I personally think he did it because he was under the impression his source outranked them.
If I talk about the Hells Angels all the time, they complain. If Garry Web talked about the CIA selling drugs, they complain. People are going to complain no matter what I post, but Freddy’s right. Just scroll past it. Despite the merit of the concerns no one really cares.
freddy: Well, to be fair he harps on Harper quite a bit too... but I do know what you mean. In his defense he's far from the only one, it's sort of a pastime for a lot of folks up there to bash the US, there's a latent thread of anti-Americanism with a lot of Canadians. I blame that Marxist lawyer, P.E.T. for that among other things, for whatever reason Canada and Canadians just sucked up as truth all the drivel that dude came up with. Canadians and Americans got along a lot better before he came along, and it's never been quite the same since. Never underestimate the amount of damage a Marxist lawyer whose goal is to transform the nation can do in a few years. (yeah, that was a dig at Barry Soetero, oh excuse me, Barack Hussein Obama....)
ReplyDeleteThe America haters can't reasoned with anyway. It's a mistake to waste breath and time trying. They have their minds made up, and don't want to be bothered with anything like facts. I can't count the number of foreigner's I've run into in Europe or some third world shithole that hate America but would sell their mothers for a green card. Fuck them.
Agent K, got my copy of that book today. I'll give it a read, but I'm afraid we're starting out in the hole already. Forward by Maxine Waters? WTF? The same balanced, principled individual who just a few days ago hoped that anyone involved with the Tea Party should die? She's another whitey-hating black racist mealy-mouthed poverty pimp who's as ignorant as the day is long. Fuck her too.
I can’t find a quote from Maxine Waters claiming the Tea Party should die. I see a quote from her stating the Tea Part can go straight to Hell. Not something I would say personally but some claiming to represent the Tea Party have shown to be complete idiots like Sarah Palin. My concern with the Tea Party is not defending the US Constitution it’s abandoning the Constitution while they sing it’s praises.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, comments about the Tea Party are completely separate from Gary Webb’s findings. The point with Webb’s finings about the CIA’s connection to arms smuggling and drug trafficking is the fact that both political parties were involved. The Clintons were just as involved and just as dirty as the Bush family when it came to hiding the drugs and arm smuggling out of Mena Arkansas when Bill Clinton was Governor of Arkansas.
It’s not a matter of hating America. I completely support the US Constitution. It a matter of hating corruption and dishonesty which can plague any organization or political party. Stephen Harper is just another Brian Mulroney. He has a long list of infractions that we can site. Now we can understand why he chooses to be silent in the media and refuses to answer open mike questions. He has a long history of firing whistle blowers and censoring the truth. Preston Manning he’s not. War criminal he is.
Firing the whistle blower who leaked out the fact that Canadian troops were handing over prisoners to be tortured then slandering the whistle blower was a shame pattern he keeps repeating. Trying to bribe Chuck Cadman was another. Freddy’s links to Operation Fast and Furious is important to review without putting our heads in the sand claiming that every whistle blower is an America hater. No doubt those same critics would have said the same about Martin Luther King who was a champion of justice and defender of the Constitution.
