Why is this not surprising? All those articles in the Vancouver Province about how we need a Regional Police force fell on deaf ears when it came to the Christy Crunch covering up what the RCMP has on her and the BC Liberals with BC Rail and the Basi Virk drug charges.

Surrey Mountie files lawsuit for alleged harassment.
ReplyDeleteMETRO VANCOUVER -- A Mountie on stress leave has filed a lawsuit against the RCMP, claiming she was harassed on the job for more than a year while working for the Drugs and Organized Crime Awareness Service in Surrey.
Elisabeth (Beth) Couture said she was discouraged from chatting with co-workers, had her telephone calls monitored and was threatened with discipline for talking too much.
"The behaviour of members of the management team, and vicariously, the RCMP, was flagrant, outrageous and completely inappropriate for the workplace," states Couture's suit, filed on Dec. 1 in B.C. Supreme Court.
"The members of the management team and RCMP acted with the object of causing harm to Couture, in particular, by alarming her and attempting to destroy her self-confidence and autonomy so she would be more responsive and more readily comply with the management team's directions."
