Sarkozy, Good Bye
Three cheers. Sarkozy was not reelected in France. That guy was a dirty dog. He was accused of accepting campaign contributions from Gaddafi then screwed him royally and led the invasion which ultimately assassinated him without a trial. When confronted with the facts, Sarkozy publically denied accepting campaign contributions from Gaddafi, but when you look at the facts, I think Sarkozy is lying.
Gaddafi’s family claimed the campaign contributions came when Sarkozy was actively trying to convince the world to trust Libya with nuclear weapons and power because he wanted to sell them a French reactor. Sarkozy was publically lobbying on Gaddafi’s behalf. Then all of a sudden, things changed. What was Gaddafi’s sin that rationalized his execution? It couldn’t have been for a transgression that happened before Sarkozy was lobbying on his behalf, it had to of happened after.
Gadaffi being a “dictator” didn’t bother Sarkozy as long as he was contributing to his political campaign and promising to buy a French reactor. Did Gaddafi end up deciding on buying a reactor from someone else? Was that the real transgression that caused Sarkozy to lead the invasion against him under the guise of a Canadian poster puppet?
When the news broke that Sarkozy lost a democratic election in France, the media branded his opponent as a socialist. Maybe the candidate is left wing. How far left I have no idea. I do however support the freedom of association within a democratic society and I do think Sarkozy is a dirty dog.
Sha na na na, Sha na na na Sarrzosky Good Bye.
Sha na na na, Sha na na na Dirty Dog Good Bye.
However, it doesn't seem to be over for the dirty dog. Outgoing French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who has enjoyed legal immunity for the past five years, could soon be forced to explain himself to magistrates in three separate funding scandals that have dogged his time in power.
France’s constitution says a president cannot be required to testify or be investigated or prosecuted until a month after leaving office, a privilege that will end in mid-June for Sarkozy, who hands over to election winner Francois Hollande on May 15.
That frees the way for Sarkozy to be summoned for questioning by judicial investigators looking into murky affairs including a 1990s submarine sale to Pakistan and relations between Sarkozy, his party and France’s wealthiest woman.

A 65-year-old Spokane man has been ordered held in custody on federal charges of illegally possessing automatic weapons and illegally storing explosives in a Bellevue commercial storage shed while agents investigate how he came to possess a huge military-grade arsenal that included grenade launchers, machine guns and plastic explosives.
Ronald Struve, heavyset and bearded, appeared in Seattle before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mary Alice Theiler on Tuesday after being extradited from Spokane, where he was arrested Jan. 7 during a raid by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).
In four searches in Bellevue and Spokane, agents seized 37 machine guns, 12 silencers, two grenade launchers, more than 60 high-explosive grenades, several pounds of military-grade C-4 plastic explosives and thousands of rounds of ammunition.
Most of this material was stored in commercial sheds near businesses and homes, said Assistant U. S. Attorney Thomas Woods.
At a detention hearing set for Friday, Woods said he will present evidence that Struve possessed "anti-government material."
According to a complaint filed earlier this month, Struve "planned to use the items at some uncertain date in the future."
Two law-enforcement sources familiar with the case, but who spoke on condition of anonymity, used the term "Armageddon" to describe what Struve was apparently awaiting in stockpiling the weapons.
Agents have served four search warrants — three in Spokane and another in Lynnwood.
The Lynnwood shed was empty; however, agents recovered eight machine guns and additional grenade rounds in a search on a storage shed in Spokane.
The search of the Bellevue storage shed did not require a warrant because agents were given permission by a man who purchased the contents at an auction.
ATF Special Agent Heidi Wallace said much of the recovered ordnance was almost certainly stolen from the military because there is no other place to get it.
Woods said the investigation is continuing and that a grand-jury indictment is possible. So far, agents have questioned at least two others — including a man who rented the shed in Bellevue. No other arrests have been made.
Wallace, who was at Struve's court hearing Tuesday, said there was no evidence at this point that Struve was involved in domestic terrorism.
Struve first came to the ATF's attention in November, when the man who had purchased the shed's contents contacted the agency after he found it full of boxes of firearms, shells and other military-style hardware and wanted to know if the weapons were legal to keep.
The bureau sent Wallace to the buyer's garage, where he had stacked the contents from the storage unit. What Wallace found were "many boxes, plastic bins and ammunition containers."

"For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit."
Who on earth is Heidi Wallace?
ReplyDeleteMy guess is she's an ATF Special Agent. I'm not sure what C.I. (which coincidentally also stands for "confidential informant") is on about, this dude had a storage locker full of zombie killing supplies and didn't pay the rent, allowing it to be sold at auction and thereby sealing his fate. People that stupid don't need to have explosives.
ReplyDeleteI believe she is a courageous women. Many would fear stepping into a shed full of military items. Not only did she conquer fear, she helped solve a crime that could have ended dangerous. High*five via satellite.
