The Vancouver Province is reporting that University of the Fraser Valley criminologist Irwin Cohen, a member of Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts’s homicide task force claims “It’s always concerning when you have three homicides in a short period of time, however, understanding the dynamic of the homicide is very important when assessing how at risk you are or if your community is safe or less safe.” IHIT spokesman Sgt. Bari Emam said in a news release: “We have no public safety concerns as a result of this case.” Hey Bill Fordy: TRANSFER!

If Cohen says it....its likely true. He doesnt care about pissing anyone off....look at his departments stuff on Insite....took a stand against the group thinkers.

Most likely unemployed "first nations" kids, that the government seems content with giving more and more money to. It is a dump, but the crime really isn't that bad. definitely not that organized.
ReplyDeleteBF may well be exaggerating but the drug trade in Prince George is very organized. The Hells Angels control it. The Crew worked for them. Then the Independent Soldiers and the GTS worked for them. They still control the drug trade in PG. The government group homes are a huge problem for any kid who doesn't like the rules in their home not just First Nation kids.

ReplyDeleteGodzilla is Dianne Watts. The raging lunatic that says one thing and does another. She promised a huge crack down on crime and did the exact opposite. If you look at the highest crime areas in Surrey it matches directly with the areas they let drug dealers sell crack publicly: Whalley and Newton.
