Newsweek is reporting that the newly installed mayor of the Mexican
city of Temixco was killed on Saturday. "Gisela Mota formally took office with the new year on Friday. Mexico City newspaper EL Universal said she was attacked at her home by four armed gunmen. Several mayors were killed last year in Mexico, where armed gangs financed by the drugs trade control many local communities."
and we have a free trade agreement with this country. Not a good thing. This enables Mexican firms to bid on Canadian contracts and then bring in their own workers, if they deem them "necessary". how to bring all that lovely Mexican crime to Canada in one easy step.
ReplyDeleteCrime and politics seem to go hand in hand in Mexico and when a new politician takes about getting rid of the criminals they get killed or if students protest against politicians who might be criminals, the students get killed.
