Stingray antennas being used in Surrey and Vancouver
Bloody hell, they just installed a camera and a stingray antenna right outside my house. Really?! There's nothing to see here guys. This is the same antenna they have at the Vancouver Courthouse in the DTES to intercept cell phone communications. Do you have a warrant for that officer? May I see a copy of the warrant? This is a side view of the antenna beside the camera:
Update: So all over Surrey you are now seeing cameras and sensors. They're not red light cameras that take a picture of your license plate if you run a red light, they are video cameras for monitoring just like at the mall. Everywhere you go you see sensor, camera - sensor, camera:
Outside my house you see sensor, camera and a stingray antenna:
With all the shootings in Surrey the cameras are likely a good idea. Cell phone monitoring isn't.
Wired dot com reported that a security researcher created a cell phone base station that tricks cellphones into routing their outbound calls through his device, allowing someone to intercept even encrypted calls in the clear. The picture above is of the directional antenna he used to reroute calls over his server to monitor them. When I was in Vancouver for the Nuttall case I called a reporter on my cell to give them my number. My cellphone was being rerouted through a different server when I called them. That is another way to monitor cellphone communications.
RCMP can spy on your cellphone, court records reveal
"The RCMP can secretly target and intercept Canadians' mobile phones, and they've used these covert surveillance techniques in a variety of major crime investigations across the country, court documents show."
Vancouver police admit using StingRay cellphone surveillance
Edmonton Police Admit to using Cellphone Surveillance then deny it.
Welcome to the realization that you live in a soft police state. Of course you could have known that from other examples of "we're the police, we can do whatever we want" where they do whatever they please, but then you have always let them get away with it before, so why should you be surprised that they disregard your opinion on this. "Because crime. Because terrorism. It's for your own good, slave."
ReplyDeleteTell them they're violating those precious Charter Rights of yours that are backed up by exactly nothing but your well-mannered polite indignation. :snicker:
I suppose on the bright side if anyone puts a cap in my ass they'll know who did it. The question is, would they do anything about it?
DeleteYes they will. And no, they won't.....
DeletePersonally I would have thought they'd have found a better place to put all this gear than in plain sight on a light pole. For the camera's I get "line of sight" but light poles get knocked over by vehicles all the time. And Van is the stolen vehicle capital of Canada. A car might be a bit hard on the driver but a nice sized medium truck with more mass....Just saying....
My wife and I and our children were in Vancouver in November 2015 and the National Security Enforcement Team smashed our door in on the 10th of November 2015. They torn our place apart looking for something and they destroyed our computers so we couldn't blog about them anymore and they stole some of our intelligence documents from the government. They took all of our belongings and threw them and us out of our place and onto the streets that day and locked us out of our place. We moved all of our stuff and our family to another motel and bought Greyhound tickets to leave B.C. and move to Edmonton in December.
ReplyDeleteWhen we tried to leave Vancouver in December 2015 to move to Edmonton the National Security Enforcement Team took our tickets and held us at the Greyhound station for 3 day. After 3 days they gave us our money back for the tickets and told us to stay away from the Greyhound station or they would throw us in jail. We left the station but they would not let us leave B.C. until January 2016. They were threatening death on us all the time and telling us to back off or else. They took our cell phone from us before we left B.C. and they didn't give it back. We were constantly under surveilance in Edmonton and the government told us the "5 EYES" could assassinate us anytime and they could not do anything about it.
In June of 2016 the Rachel Notley government helped us get funding from the government for food and rent and transportation back to Ontario so we could get legal representation to sue them. We arrived in Toronto June 4th 2016 and met with the provincial Courts because they wanted to see our documents from the National Security Enforcement Royal Canadian Mounted Police Counter Terrorism Unit. The Courts granted us Legal Aid and we now have a Lawyer to sue them. We have been threatened and assaulted here in Ontario also by Canadian intelligence and we went to the Attourney Generals office and filed multiple reports but they refused to help us, they gave us documentation stating if we want Justice we will have to take our case to the Supreme Court Of Canada.
My wife and I were the ones who had the 30-08 warrants taken out on us in 2009 by the Harper government. We are still under surveilance and still getting abuse by the Trudeau government.

Greetings. Glad to see you two are alive and kicking. That Silk Road case was certainly very interesting to say the least. CSIS Sucks!
DeleteKEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ;D YOU GOT THE GREATEST BLOG EVER ;D
ReplyDeleteThanks. Mostly it seems insignificant but I suppose every little bit helps. Cheers.
DeleteThat sure looks like a Yagi antenna to me...... Which would be used in conjunction with a camera to send information back to a traffic control center. Perhaps you are mistaken......
ReplyDeleteNo that's the exact same antenna a reporter pointed out to me on top of the Vancouver courthouse in the DTES right above the door where they release prisoners from court. No doubt that's what they will claim it is but I'm going to have to cry bullshit on that one.
Deletelistening in on our cell phone conversation? how nice???
ReplyDeleteno warrant? what can they do with the information? it might not be useable in court but it certainly can be used against people in other ways including black mailing people. This is not a good thing.
of course if people know the "listening stations" are there, they could give the police something to really listen to............
Haven't heard of the Heroux family. Is this something the MSM missed? What did they do which caused them so many problems? short version would be nice. thanks
I was initially thinking it was to monitor yourself, as you related in your blog.
ReplyDeleteThen, after contemplating it for a bit I was thinking perhaps it is your new neighbours they are monitoring?
Then again, with your latest update for more, perhaps it is nothing specific (i.e. you or your neighbours - or both).
Then again, perhaps some of these are just "dummy" sets so they can claim no one specific has been targeted as they have these all over the place. (or they are not dummy units and they can just switch from one to another when you and/or your neighbours are "on the move")
I have no doubt that I am being monitored as is anyone else on their watch list. They have no reason to monitor my neighbours. They are not political at all. They have four young children and a brand new baby. They don't have tie to be involved in politics. They are just good people.
DeleteIt is a yagi antenna for sure. My son installs that kind of stuff for the GVRD and says there is no doubt.
ReplyDeleteYagi antennas can reroute outgoing cell phone calls and monitor them. Most of the traffic cameras don't have them so they aren't for relying camera information.
DeleteYes, it is a yagi antenna, however, that in itself means very little. Yagi antennae are everywhere, and used for many different purposes ie traffic cameras, traffic signal control, electrical grid utility, etc. There are no mystical powers to a yagi per se - it is merely a type of antenna that focuses RF energy reasonably well. A yagi antenna cannot re-rout or monitor anything - it is just an antenna. Whatever might be connected to that antenna is what is actually doing the work (nefarious, utilitarian, or otherwise).
