The 40-year-old was found by downtown patrol officers called to a residence in the area of 106 Avenue and 105 Street at about 9:30 p.m. They administered first aid, and paramedics responded, but the male succumbed to his injuries at the scene, according to the Edmonton Police Service."
Last week City News reported that "Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called in after a shooting in South Surrey left one man dead late Saturday night.
They say it happened at around 11 p.m. when RCMP responded to shots fired near 166 Street and 19 Avenue.
A man with serious injuries was found, they add. RCMP say the 37-year-old man has died of his injuries, and IHIT is now working the case."
