Sean Strickland finds dead body on Edmonton street

The Toronto Sun is reporting that "UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has put Edmonton in his sights, trashing the Alberta capital after making the trip north of the border for UFC Fight Night on Saturday."

"While Strickland won’t be competing at the event being held at Rogers Place, he will be in the corner of another fighter on the card. And after spending his first day in Edmonton, the outspoken California native was quick to slam the city, calling out apparent drug issues and a lack of policing."

"He also shared a photo of a person on a downtown sidewalk doing “the fenti fold” — a symptom of using Fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid drug. He also claimed to have encountered five people doing the same thing."

"The most troubling scene that he shared was a clip of himself walking down a street with a person lying down behind a fence that Strickland said could be dead.” Edmonton is Red and White. They run the drug trade there.

This is like Snoop Dog's visit to the DTES which is run by the Wolf Pack.

  1. Sadly there is no going back in time to before the fentanyl era. We should be looking at what is broken in our society that is driving those people to use bad drugs.
The problem with fentanyl is the potency is so high that small amounts can easily pass through the border undetected.
As we've seen with the China clampdown: other suppliers moved in based out of India to fill that gap quickly. Crack down on India and they will move to Myanmar. There's an endless supply of unscrupulous actors.
It really is naive to think removing one group or supplier will impact the supply chain, when we've seen this to be false at a global scale.

    1. And guess who runs the crystal meth out of Myanmar?

  2. If you think about it: Fentanyl is basically our payback for what we did to China with opium. Now before your smooth brain gets upset, obviously I'm not saying this justifies anything. The fact I have to add that footnote for you is really sad.

    1. Yes but our Fentanyl doesn't come from China it comes from the CIA just like the Crack epidemic in the /80's as Gary Web so boldly declared. The Opium war in China was horrible. Now the same people that did it to them are now doing it to us.
