The Niagara Police are reporting that "On Sunday, June 12, 2022, at approximately 3:40 am, 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers responded to the area of Pleasant Avenue and Lake Street in the City of St. Catharines for reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers discovered three victims as a result of this incident. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other victims were transported to hospital. The second victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to an out-of-town hospital for treatment. The third victim is currently being treated for non life threatening injuries."
No one commits a crime with a registered handgun.
