Trump pardoned Joseph Schwartz for $39 million fraud

Notus is reporting that "Trump pardoned Schwartz, who paid lobbyists nearly $1.1 million in 2025 to lobby for clemency, in November. Federal lobbyists disclosed receiving more than $2.1 million last year from criminals and other legally imperiled people looking to secure a pardon or clemency from President Donald Trump - and that’s likely an undercount." Wow.

Israeli Investment Fraud and Jamaican Scams

Mariana Van Zeller put out an informative documentary about fraud call centres in Jamaica and Tel Aviv. Locally, Gill Rosenberg is a Vancouver born female Israeli soldier who was falsely reported kidnapped by ISIS. 

Turned out she was alive and well with a history of fraud. The Times of Israel said she was a convicted grifter. "Before joining war against jihadist extremists, Canada-born Gill Rosenberg served 3 years in prison for cheating elderly out of their money."

"Rosenberg and the 11 other members of the ring - all Israeli nationals - were believed to have stolen up to $25 million, according to Channel 10." An investment fraud tied to 11 other Israeli nationals. That's no lone wolf. That's organized crime.
