Surrey homicide after more complaints fell on deaf ears

The Vancouver Sun is confirming a dead body was found in a car in Surrey 9:00 AM Tuesday morning at the end of a dead-end road near 189th Street and 92nd Avenue. CBC and CTV are also reporting on the story.

On the Televised CBC News residents said they had been complaining about criminal activity at the derelict house at the end of the street for years. Another example of residents complaints falling on deaf ears that has resulted in yet another homicide. That is criminal negligence. Dianne Watts doesn't need a new talk force to figure that one out.

This is the third recent homicide which occurred after residents had consistently complained about an ongoing crime problem while the police and the city failed to do anything about it. First was the illegal booze can behind Green Timbers pub that local residents had been complaining about for years, the second was the hockey Mom that was beaten to death in Newton after local residents and businesses had been complaining about drug dealing in that area for years and now this. A vacant house that residents had reported to the police for years of criminal activity. Three strikes your out. City Hall mandates the police. It's time for a changing of the guard at the Ivory tower.

Have you had time to catch up on this one by Kim? Very Interesting current connections to SURREY CRIME SCENE!

    1. I still consider the Dhak Pack small potatoes. That's why they keep getting exterminated all over the city. I still see the Hells Angels as the much bigger threat to public safety.

    2. Wait a sec... what connections to the current crime scene?

  3. "Three strikes you're out." If you'd spent more time at the "ivory tower" yourself, you'd at least know some grammar. Turning a murder around to suit your personal vendetta against intellectuals is childish at best.

    1. Just for the record, I certainly don’t have a vendetta against Dianne Watts. When she came to office she led a big song and danced about a crime prevention coalition. I believed her and supported it. The problem is when she took office she did the exact opposite. My concern is crime in Surrey. What you all do after hours at the ULounge is none of my business.

  4. Get a grip Alex. Threatening to sue someone for exposing your defamation of a city counselor is childish at best. Minimizing three separate murders which resulted from criminal negligence is repulsive. The point is the City keeps refusing to act on the ongoing complaints of criminal activity. As locals have been saying, that means they have blood on their hands. Rationalizing that is disgusting.

  5. Intellectuals at city hall..what a riot! There are several prerequisites to join that mob of brigands: unctuousness, moral maneuverability, and maintaining a flexible posture regarding telling truth.
