Kevin Sun, Bill Majcher and CSIS Sam

While we reflect on the continued barrage of bizarre news, let's remember two important facts coming out of the Bill Majcher case. Fabian Dawson's follow up report on Project Severo and the Bill Majcher case made an important revelation. 

He mentioned a disclosure cloud that hangs over that case. Anyone who's followed the case during the build up to the trial knows that the RCMP have been consistently resistant to disclosure on the grounds of national security. 

At one point the judge finally said OK guys, all your evidence isn't protected under national security. Make two files. One that might be considered national security and another that isn't so you can disclose the one that isn't when I order it. 

The disclosure cloud that Fabian Dawson referred to was a document from Bill Macher's friend Kim Marsh who was branded an unindicted co conspirator. Kim Marsh wanted to testify to clear his name but the Crown shocked the defense by ending their case early without calling him.

Marsh, a veteran Mountie who retired after a 25-year career told the Asian Pacific Post "I believe this court was not told the full story, and that my evidence would have helped show how flawed the investigation really was."

"'I provided a detailed 45-page report on Kevin Sun to the RCMP. To my knowledge, no action was taken on that material. Instead, my home was searched under 'a warrant the court later found to be unlawful,' he said." So let's pause right there. 

"Sun was accused of stealing hundreds of millions of dollars from a Chinese bank, which he allegedly plowed into a Lower Mainland real estate empire." Well... BC Rail here we come.

"Supt. Peter Tsui claimed the Chinese wanted the RCMP to act on historic fraud charges against Sun, but Canadian police were ultimately forced to give them a hard no." Why not?

Why didn't the RCMP investigate him after Kim Mash gave them a report on his investigation of him? Then they have to audacity to imply that Bill Majcher is the crook when in reality it was them all along. Now let's back it up. 

For a time CSIS Sam and the Vancouver Sun were going after Kevin Sun in their reports as well as the Natioanl Post. The July 2016 headline read Mysterious wheeler-dealer is at centre of a web of B.C. real estate deals. The article stated "A Chinese property tycoon linked to a massive banking scandal in China’s industrial north is at the centre of more than $500 million in B.C. property deals, a joint investigation by Postmedia and global due diligence firm IPSA International shows."

"The banking scandal, at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, started with a $500-million loan fraud audit in Jilin, a corruption-plagued northeastern province." 

"Also in 2004, Chinese media including Sina, an online financial news service, were reporting that a Jilin entrepreneur named Sun Hongwei had left behind “a $2.8 billion (yuan) credit maze, infamy and misappropriation of state assets.”

"Kevin Sun and Ling Lin were sued by HSBC Bank Canada, which alleges they defaulted on a $3.2-million mortgage on one of Sun’s homes - a $9.5-million gated mansion in Richmond complete with stables and sprawling grounds that served as corporate mailing address for Sun’s companies. SunCom lawyer Carpick said his client would not comment on a case still pending before the courts.”

So in July 2016 CSIS Sam did a hit piece on Kevin Sun then in September 2024 he flips the script and starts going after Bill Majcher instead. As yourself why. 

Sam Cooper writes what CSIS tells him to write. In previous stories Sam Cooper boldly announced his source was CSIS as though they were supposed to be a credible source of information. Not. Sam Cooper posted that movie screen shot claiming it was a picture of Bill Majcher shaking hands with a high ranking triad member tied to the Communist Party of China. That was a ridiculous lie. 

It was a screen shot from a moive filmed in Hong Kong Bill played an extra in. He wasn't shaking hands with a high ranking Triad member in a Chinese Casino, he was shaking hands with Chow Yun-Fat, a world famous actor that stared in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon as well as the Pirates of the Caribbean. 

When that information was made public, Sam Cooper was forced to print a retraction. That should have been a career killer but the fake news keeps quoting him over and over again. 

Sam claimed someone sent it to him trying to set him up. Yet if someone other than CSIS sent it to him he would have checked it with his CSIS sources that he bragged about having. CSIS told him to run with it so he did. The reason why CSIS told him to run with an obvious lie is because they thought the truth would have been hidden under the guise of national security. 

In CSIS Sam's 2016 hit piece on Kevin Sun he quoted the CIA twice. The RCMP did't go after Kevin Sun because the CIA told them not to. Just like the CIA told the DEA they could go after Blandon in LA. The CIA were the ones that broke the story about the false charges against Bill Majcher. The FBI were the ones that intercepted the email for the RCMP's fraudulent case.
