Eventually they're going to have to give up my crib. What on earth will they do with their time when they aren't monitoring everything I do. Join CSIS and extort Punjabi business owners? Next on the chopping block: IHIT and the BC CFSEU.On April 1 2026, SPS will provide all police operations for residents in Cloverdale. While you may see more SPS officers, there will be no change to how Cloverdale residents access police services.

Aint cloverdale a part of surrey??
ReplyDeleteYes, the map shows all the areas of Surrey the RCMP has been kicked out of with only Guildford Fleetwood left to go.
DeleteFleetwood is my crib as well. I find that some of these RCMP officers that patrol Fleetwood look rather depressed. Their morale is low because they know damn well that their days are numbered.
DeleteThe only interaction I had with them was when they gave me a ticket for driving over a yellow line to make a left hand turn right beside where they smoke crystal meth. I had an interaction with a Langley member at the gun range and he was fine. I guess they're holding on to Guildford because the headquarters for E Division is in Green Timbers.
DeleteThose crotchety old dinosaurs that were hell bent on saving the RCMP are probably having a meltdown as we speak, but really it’s time to grow up and leave the past behind. The joke’s on them. Let’s keep the SPS in Surrey and kick the RCMP out of Surrey Police Service. Brenda Loch Ness Monster’s hatred towards the SPS is certainly no secret and her days at City Hall are numbered. I’m going to vote her OUT come October.
ReplyDeleteLoch Ness Monster, nice. We need to find someone other than Linda Annis because she represents the Surrey First Neo Cons. She wants to bring LRT Back over Skytrain which is delusional.
DeleteHow about you, Dennis? Would you ever consider running for city Council? I totally vote for you in a heartbeat. My apologies for going off topic, but whatever happened to Stephen Pettigrew? I noticed that ever since he lost, he just completely disappeared off the face of the Earth.
DeleteWhile we're on the subject, that RCMP officer's father who caused toxic trouble in Surrey is in the news again. Apparently, he's trying to create more awareness about dementia while promoting his radio which nobody listens to. You can tell by looking him that he's got some bricks missing from his tower. What this loser clearly has is a medical disorder.

The SkyTrain project is already deep into construction, so there's really no stopping it now. The focus should be on getting it finished and working well for the community. It's not something that can realistically be undone at this stage.
DeleteThat project to Langley is finally well under way but Linda Annis has gone on record wanting to use LRT in other areas of the City because Dianne Watts gets donations from them. Bullet trains between cities are great. LRTs through traffic are insane. Extending Skytrain to Newton would make sense. Putting a LRT on the ground would not. That whole Surrey First party is rotten to the core.
DeleteMe? Not a chance. I don't have the patience for that. I'd get in a fistfight in a heartbeat and end up in jail. Stephen Pettigrew was an idiot. McCallum reached out and included him because he wanted to include environmentalists. All Steve did was make a Facebook group. He wasn't very bright and sabotaged a lot of things Roslyn Cassells tried to do to save Hawthorne Park. Then he started to rage against McCallum and slid back under that rock he crawled out from.
lol back underneath a rock! I nearly died at this one!! Boy, that must have been embarrassing.
DeletePettigrew was a nobody on Facebook that rid on McCallum's coattails. Then after he became a councilor he started getting weirder and disappeared when his term was up.
DeleteI certainly wouldn’t want to vote for Mike Starchuk. He has an NDP background. Look at what Kennedy Stewart and Gregor Robertson did to Vancouver. Do we really another NDP mayor running Surrey?
DeleteFirst I heard of him. I didn't realize the Surrey civic election is this year but it's still way too early to call. Nomination aren't until September. I see there's a new Conservative party in Surrey running a civic slate.
DeleteYou're right Kennedy Stewart and Gregor Robertson were whack jobs and Jinny Sims was nasty but Surrey has had some excellent NDP MPs and MLAs like Bruce Ralston, Joan Smallwood and Penny Priddy. I really think we need to evolve past blind faith and blind hate for anyone.
Linda Annis and her puppet master Dianne Watts broke election rules again by announcing early and running paid ads promoting LRT. As far as I'm concerned anyone but them will do. I was totally against Brenda Locke and think that election was rigged but I didn't really hear her do anything too crazy while in office.
The official word is that Doug McCallum is running again.
DeleteThat would be interesting. He is solid but he is getting on in years. Last time he ran I hear him speak at a debate and the person beside me commented on his age and I was like yeah
DeleteI know. After hearing him speak I was like we're good. He nailed it. He was right on point on every issue. That was two elections ago.
Now he is supported by Doug Elford of the Safe Surrey coalition again. Doug Elford is solid. He might be the one to take over for McCallum when he eventually does finally retire. Holy f*ck. McCallum is still right on point. Sky Train to Newton not LRT. He's got my vote:
