Sunday night shooting in Surrey

Scan BC is reporting that #Surrey #RCMP is responding to 148 St & 59 Ave for a report of shots heard. Call is delayed as the reportee called the news before 911. Scan BC is also reporting that @SurreyRCMP investigating report of shots fired between 2 cars along the Fraser Highway at approx 3:20am Teusday morning.

    Called the news first lol! If that doesnt show how much ppl care for policing I dont want know what could drive the point home any clearer. Everyone hates reporters! And still they called the news first! Time to hire some good cops and do some Public Relations training.

    everybody wants their 15 seconds of fame and by phoning in the report to the news first, they get their name announced. Public safety be dammed. of course one could argue why call the police. It isn't as if they are going to get their fast enough or arrest anyone.
