While I'm drifting on the sea of lies waiting for the next wind, I'd just like to make something clear. People are free to choose. That's what the war in heaven was all about. People are free to choose good. People are free to choose evil. Yet we all know wickedness never was happiness. Greed is self defeating.
However, in politics it's never so black and white. There's always good and bad on both sides. Good points and bad points. That's why it's so important to have a loyal opposition.
For example, Donald Trump made a lot of promises about draining the swamp. Then all of a sudden he hopped into bed with the swamp. Netanyahu, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Mossad and the CIA. That's the swamp and Trump's neck deep in it.
This whole blind devotion to Israel is really Dr Phil. Oh but the Jews are God's chosen people. We want to be on God's side. God does not endorse what Netanyahu is doing.
The Jews are God's covenanted people. Under Moses's leadership they made a covenant to serve God and keep his commandments. Moses was very clear about the blessing and cursing of obedience and disobedience to those covenants.
Netanyahu is a bad man. That doesn't mean Israel is bad but what Netanyahu is doing is. He has broken his covenants. Blind devotion to a bad man who breaks his covenants is unwise. He's not going to lead you where you want to go.
What if the red states in the US broke off from the blue states and gave Donald Trump absolute power to do anything he wanted? Do you really think that would be a good thing?
The Jimmy Dore show recently made a podcast stating that Mass deportation is a Trojan Horse for a Repressive state. They're absolutely right. That is the problem, reaction, solution paradigm. They created a manufactured emergency to justify the creation of a police state which was their original objective all along and you nutbars have fallen for it.
Alberta is landlocked. How are you going to get your oil to port? As I said in my podcast about Alberta Separation, we need Alberta and Alberta needs us. If Alberta separates then Net Zero is a done deal. We won't have enough Conservatives to vote against it. If Alberta leaves they won't have Net Zero but everyone else will so there will be no market for their oil.
What about you pension? You want to put your pension in the hands of Stehphen Harper? AYFKM? That dirt bag is a freak. He's not a Conservative. He's a Brian Mulroney POS.
I saw a post where Daniel Bulford was supporting Alberta Separation and my heart sank. I have a huge amount of respect for Daniel Bulford, Chris Barber and Tamara Lich. I totally support their right to hold and express their opinions. That doesn't mean I'm going to agree with every position they express. No two people agree on every issue.
I understand the frustration. With all my heart I understand the frustration but I don't see that as the solution. When you talk about left and right, how far do you want to go?
If you go too far to the left you find Communists. If you go too far to the right you find Fascists. Yet Communists and Fascists are the same and Fascism is the opposite of Conservative values.
Conservative values represent small government, low taxes and more freedom. Fascism repress the big governement not small government. Fascism represents the same government overreach Communism does.
That's not what Conservatives believe in. Stephen Harper and Brian Mulroney are not Conservatives. If you give those clowns absolute power, you'll end up the same place Mark Carney and Justin Trudeau want to take us. Buyer Beware.
The west needs to separate, or come to a better financial agreement with Ottawa. It is clear that our elections will not help change the financial position of SK, AB, and BC. How come MB is given 9,043 billion over 2 years?
ReplyDeleteNow you're hating on Manitoba. For God's sake when will the hate end? There isn't even enough people in Alberta that support separation. There's not a snowball's chance in hell BC will support it. I certainly don't. All this separation sh*t is me first selfishness and greed. There are legitimate concerns on the table but we need to deal with those concerns not run over the globalist cliff on the right because that ends up in the same place as the globalist cliff on the left. I want nothing to do with either. People have a lot of hate right now. They need to time process that hate before it consumes them and leads them astray. Hate blinds people to truth.
DeleteWow. Does BC pay more than Manitoba? I don't give a f*ck. I'm grateful to have a job. Maybe you guys should leave. All that hate, greed and selfishness is not what Canada is all about.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't heard of UNCLOS ?
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of that. It doesn't sound good.
DeleteYou are right, there is not enough support for separation in Alberta and it won't happen. I am not convinced separation would be a net benefit to Alberta, but you are wrong when you say it is all about selfishness. Many Albertans are very frustrated with the federal government. There is no metric that shows the Liberal government has improved Canada or the life of the average Canadian and yet they still hold power. That fact alone is enough to make many Albertans want to leave Canada. Now Albertans should also be very critical of their own provincial government as well, but that's another story.
ReplyDeleteI can't paint everyone with the same brush. I don't think Daniel Bulford is selfish. I think he and a few other see Alberta separation as a chance for freedom. However, there are a lot of others who are selfish and obsess over Trump's me first mentality. Hating on Manitoba is a prime example.
DeleteFirst it's a hate for Quebec. Then it's a hate for Manitoba. Then it's a hate for anyone who disagrees with them. A hate for immigrants, a hate for French, a hate for First Nations. Hate, hate hate. I do think selfishness plays a large role in it. That's why I'm having serious doubts about my move to Albert. I rather be poor and free from hate.
I understand what you are saying and referring to, and you are correct that some do have that mentality, but it is a relatively small amount. I hope that doesn't persuade you from moving to Alberta. If you do move probably the thing you will miss the most is the weather. Alberta winters can be long.
DeleteA coworker transferred to Alberta last year and wants to come back. I want to find out why he wants to come back. He's a duck hunter. Maybe it's drier there and have less ducks. It could be something else.
