Update: In the second Dispersing the Fog podcast about Paul Palango's book Anatomy of a cover up he goes into more details about the Corrie Ellison murder.
"Next week, the show will in part focus on the new revelations around the death of Cst. Heidi Stevenson."
Speaking of poor forest fire management in BC, let's not forget how the cut the water off in Maui and in LA during their fires. A coworker recently returned from Maui and people confirmed the police set up a road block. They prevented people from leaving and turned them back into the fire where they died in their cars waiting in a traffic jam.
My coworker spoke to one family who said they were able to leave but right after they left, family members called them on their phone saying the police prevented them from leaving and turned them back into the fire. They said the entire family that was turned back died in the fire.
We heard several accounts of people surviving because they defied the police roadblock and instruction. We need to remember that and we need to talk about that because it ties in with the Nova Scotia Mass murders. In my interview with Paul Palango about his new book Anatomy of a Cover up, he made two bombshell revelations.
First Gabe Wortman was a police Agent. Second, Gabe Wortman didn't kill Corrie Ellison. Paul illustrates cell phone evidence confirming that a witness was at the location the police said Gabe Wortman passed after he killed Corrie Ellison but Gabe Wortman wasn't there. Paul said the evidence shows that Gabe Wortman passed right by the police. He didn't travel the way they said he did.
So they lied to cover that mistake but they also lied to cover up another mistake. Gabe Wortman wasn't were Corrie Ellison was when Corrie was killed. In my podcast with Paul Palango, Paul said he thinks the RCMP killed Corrie Ellison. My question was why.
In Paul Palango's other podcast about his new book on Dispersing the Fog he explained why. He said he thinks the police killed him by accident. People were on edge looking for a crazed shooter. Paul thinks the police shot Corrie Ellison thinking it was Gabe Wortman by accident. That is possible. That would explain why they lied. The fact is they did lie and they did falsify evidence. So let's pursue that.
It would not be the first time the RCMP shot the wrong person and then covered up their culpability. Remember the skateboard park incident in Surrey?
ReplyDeleteHudson Brooks. I remember that case well:

Falsifying evidence and lying in court (same thing really) is amazingly common, and judges rarely address that. The system must be protected. Right and wrong left the building long ago, if they were ever there.
