Trump and Carney: Arrogance, Debt and Gun Control

In the spirit of objectivity, I have two concerns with Trump and three concerns with Carney. The two concerns with Trump are relevant because they are preventing us from dealing with the three concerns about Carney which are colossal.

Everyone has strengths and weaknesses so let's look at two of Trumps weaknesses that prevent us from dealing with three much more important concerns with Carney.

First of all, Trump's rude arrogance is off the hook. It was funny at first when he slammed a couple of woke wackos but it didn't stop there and is completely out of control.

Recently Donald Trump was mocking France saying Americans are the only ones that don't celebrate Victory day and we won the war. Sure other countries helped but we won it.

That kind of defiant arrogance is astounding. Everyone participated. Every made huge sacrifices. Take the Australians at Gallipoli. Yes that was the First World war but the sacrifices they made then are recorded in history.

The Americans were neutral for three years before they joined the First World war. In the second world war the Americans were neutral for the first two years. The rest of us weren't.

Yes the American contribution was significant and greatly appreciated. It's just this we're bigger and better than anyone else in the world is too much to stomach. That kind of arrogance equates with illiteracy. It is uneducated and insolent.

It's like this trade war with the world. The Happy Bunny boldly declaring it's all about me. We need a better deal is very me first which is driven by selfishness and greed. It doesn't make foreign countries want to buy American. It makes them want to boycott American.

Then there's the obsession with gold idols. That is really Dr Phil. We saw how Trump's arrogance tanked Canada and Australia's elections. We need to move past Trump's insanity so we can deal with Mark Carney and the UN's New World Order of Insanity. Which leads us to three concerns with Mark Carney.

The first and foremost is overspending and massive debt. After last year's $62 billion single year deficit, Mark Carney isn't even tabling a budget. You know that funny thing a democratic society has where the government needs to get spending approved? Well Mark Carney has done away with that and that is a huge concern that can't go by unnoticed.

The next is Net Zero. Banning all gas cars has nothing to do with protecting the environment any more than banning natural gas does. It's a step towards the UN's New World Order of fake environmentalism. Climate change is not a just cause to throw away civil liberty and embrace Communism but that is exactly what they want. They want to drive up the cost of energy and make consumers poor so they become dependent on them.

The third concern is excessive gun control without a vote in Parliament. We all remember that last minute commie take all amendment to the Bill right before it was voted on. Rural MPs from the NDP and the Liberals lost their sh*t.

They said Justin Trudeau doesn't have a clue about what it's like to live in our communities. We live with predators all around us. The Assembly of First Nation's Chiefs said hunting is a treaty right. You can't ban hunting.

So they withdrew the last minute amendment. The bill was then voted on and passed. Yet right before he resigned Justin Trudeau took almost everything from that all inclusive wish list and banned them without a vote in Parliament. It was an order in council. That crossed the line. It was outrageous.

They quietly slipped that dirty deed through while no one was looking. Well now we're looking as Mark Carney is spending more tax dollars he doesn't have to seize legally obtained property from law biding citizens. Allowing the government to seize your property is never a good thing. This needs to be addressed and that last order in council which wasn't voted on needs to be repealed

Those three concerns are really important and if we don't separate ourselves from Donald Trump's extremism we will never be able to deal with the real concerns that do matter.

  1. "Carney Promises to Confiscate Firearms". Yeah right. He might want to get some input from the RCMP before he issues that order. They told Justin to pound sand the last time it came up, then they started talking about using contractors to do it. Then it dropped off the radar altogether. Until now. Hey, it's a big part of the Globalist playbook, can't have people chambering a round and saying "Fuck you", that kind of stuff can spread. We would not expect the membership to be enthusiastic about that, and no surprise, you set out to take everyone's guns and that is going to end badly, even here in Canada. All it will take is one incident to set off something much bigger.

    1. That's what they want. One wacko to say you can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead finger and that would give them the public support to take them all. The RCMP would do it in a heartbeat.

    2. They already told Commodus they wouldn't be doing that the last time.

    3. That's exactly what the American Colonists did at Lexington and Concord, and we see how that worked out for the Redcoats. Do you believe that we can somehow vote our way out of Globalism? Please name any time in history where a King or a government ordered people to surrender their weapons and possession of them was restored without a war or a revolution.

    4. Ah Dennis, you're so reasonable. That attitude is going to reasonable us right into the Globalist paradise you claim to hate.

    5. As the poster said, resistance has a habit of spreading. Look at the trucker protest.

    6. The RCMP would do it right up to the point where there was an uptick in line of duty deaths due to attempted enforcement.

    7. I never thought I'd say that the immigrant onslaught of the last 40 years would save freedom in Canada, but it might. The Chinese Canadian community are not big gun owners overall, but they have more recent experience of what happens when they are prohibited from owning them than Canadians of European extraction, many of whose ancestors fled north rather than betray their king. Likewise the Sikh's who are warrior farmers who can carry a knife around when the rest of us cannot do so legally.

    8. The longer we wait, the worse it will be. People need to stand up.

    9. I think there will be more than one wacko. Do you expect the natives who hunt and those who live in remote areas to quietly go along with this?

    10. They say once freedom is lost, only blood will bring it back. Yet Canada wasn't born in the rocket's red glare. It was forged through a patient devotion to due process. The Americans were very fortunate to have someone like George Washington who, after seizing power, handed it over to the people. Most politicians aren't like that. Donald Trump certainly isn't.

I am very much a Canadian. I am devoted to the Charter of Rights which is the highest law of the land. So are the police. However, if an elected government banned certain guns and the police came to seize them I would sue them but I would never take up arms against them. Ever.

I believe it was the police union that objected to seizing guns when Justin Trudeau mandated it. Yet you will always find volunteers for a Blackwater Storm trooper style task force to kick in doors of law biding citizens and seize private property just like the musical ride clown wanted to trample protesters.

My whole point is the last order in council that was not voted on went too far and needs to be repealed. Taking up arms against the police is not only problematic, it is a trap. Agent Provocateurs from the Five Eyes want to pit law biding citizens against the police. I reject that. Oath Keepers from Police on Guard are noble. We need to support law and order like we always have. Putting an extremist in power through violence will never end well.

  2. Most if not all in Canada who say they will shoot a cop who tries to take away their guns don't actually have any. Partly because anyone who does have legally obtained firearms don't want to go on record making any incriminating statements that would jeopardize their continued possession of their legally obtained firearms. Yet it goes beyond that.

I don't do undercover. I don't sneak around with illegal firearms. Everything I have is legal. If a globalist bans a particular firearm, even if you are allowed to posses it through a grandfathered clause, you can't do anything with it. You're not allowed to transport it. That means you can't even take it to the gun range to shoot. My shooting buddy had some prohibited weapons grandfathered but he can't even take them to the gun range so they're useless.

I much rather change the government and make better laws than shoot a cop or hide in the shadows. We elect the government who make the laws the police enforce. Poilievre had a 30 point lead. We almost got rid of the insane order in council. Yet Trump blew it for us with his arrogant extremism. That means the Trump Zombies are in reality agent provocateurs trying to prevent us from getting that order in council repealed with their small minded approach. Think big. Change the law for everyone so you can transport them and legally shoot them in the bush. Don't associate with agent provocateurs.

Another reasonable change we could realistically lobby for is for gun ranges to have a permit for some prohibited weapons that people could rent on site. For example, fully automatic weapons are prohibited in Canada. I don't need to own a fully automatic weapon but it would be fun as f*ck to be able to shoot one at the gun range without having to go to Vegas. Just like that .50 cal sniper rifle they recently banned. The gun range had one and had to get rid of it. They should be able to get a permit for that so people could try it on site. That would help the gun ranges make more money and secure their viability.

  3. Let's not forget, the grandmother that let truckers stay on her property during the Coutts blockade was charged with firearm offenses. When the RCMP searched her home, we was on the phone with her daughter. She left her phone on when she was arrested so her daughter could hear what was going on. They recorded the police talking about planting the guns on her property. When she submitted that evidence to the court, the charges against her were dropped.

    1. Oh come on, the RCMP would never do that.

    2. That poster brings up an interesting point about Chinese Canadians, guns, and freedom. When Allen Lever retired years ago, he sold Lever Arms to a Canadian of Chinese ancestry. Lever Arms later moved from Granville Street out to Richmond, and recently announced a price increase on SKS rifles. I'll bet a lot of the older Chinese here in Canada have experience with that rifle from their mandatory military training back in China. Interesting that the largest stock of SKS rifles and ammunition in Canada is in an area that is 90% Chinese. If the RCMP are going to seize them all anyway, you might as well throw the doors open and hand them out for free, limit of one per customer.

    3. The SKS is a very old favorite made by the Russians and the Chinese. You can buy synthetic stocks for them bringing an old gun back to life but it's still a very old gun. Those made the exemption because they don't have detachable magazines.

As for the comment the RCMP would never do that I'm assuming that's sarcasm. They did do that and they've done a lot worse. Look at the history of dirty tricks the RCMP pulled which was the reason CSIS was created who simply perfected the dirty tricks.

    4. It was indeed sarcasm.

  4. They intend to ban them all bit by bit, whatever they can get away with. That is completely the history of gun control in Canada. Down south as well. Even repealing that Order in Council will still leave us with what we had before, which is not much. A gun is a gun. Saying that some are more dangerous than others is the lie of the gun grabber.

    1. Indeed. Yet if we repealed the last insane order in council I would be happy with that compromise as long as it went no further. We do need to lift the hand gun freeze.

  5. If you will check you will find that all of the restrictions of firearms by make and model were Orders in Council. They have never been able to get these laws passed honestly, leaving only this dishonest method.

    1. Actually that's not true. After they withdrew the last minute amendment it was voted on and passed. They may have done others by order in council which is a dirty trick that needs to stop. Bills need to be voted on before they become law.

    2. They voted on Bill C-21 and it passed. The new order in council that wasn't voted on came after that:

  7. No one wants to shoot a cop. On the other side of the coin, no one wants to be shot by a cop for owning a gun.

    1. Kind of like how the Toronto police executed that 70 year old gunsmith in his home outside their jurisdiction:

    2. One could be forgiven for thinking they mess up more than they get it right. If someone wrote a book about what a circus our law enforcement community is going back say, 25 years it would be clown shoes for everyone. There's an opportunity here for someone who writes True Crime books. They might have to move out of Canada after that, they'd be very popular with the members.

    3. Exactly like that.
