Diwali - Monday October 20th 2025

Beautiful picture of the Golden Temple. Diwali is something all religions in India celebrate. Light over darkness is a universal theme. What's with Diwali in Surrey this year? I barely hear any fireworks out there. Every year there's normally tons. $50,000 fine? That's a bit extreme. IT's OK to smoke crystal meth in Surrey but it's not OK to celebrate Diwali. Figures.

    Smoke meth at the bus stop and even on the bus but if you're a cleanly dressed working stiff you'll be fined for jaywalking to avoid missing the same bus!

    The system is systemically broken and in need of a complete overhaul.
    Judges are corrupted by an agenda and the "good" police officers are demoralized and have given up.
    What a fkn mess.

      It's just a matter of enforcing the laws already n place. Don't let people smoke meth in public. It's that simple. When you do, the violent crime increases exponentially.
