Colombia bombings before presidential vote

NPR is reporting that "A spate of attacks against civilians and military bases in Colombia's southwestern region has raised security concerns as the country heads to a May presidential election in which crime is expected to be one of the top voter concerns."

"Rebel groups have staged 26 attacks with explosives and drones since Friday, including a deadly blast Saturday on a highway between the cities of Cali and Popayan, according to Colombia's defense ministry. The death toll in that explosion rose to 21 people on Monday."

OK so let's do the math. 1) These insane attacks started right before another election like they often have in the past.  2) These insane attacks are targeting civilians as well as military. If you're trying to win popular opinion, attacking civilians isn't the way to do it. So who has the most to benefit from these outrageous attacks?

Let's remember the previous president the CIA endorsed. The right wing extremist responsible for false positive scandal. Under his command, the army would slaughter civilians and dress them up like paramilitaries claiming victory over paramilitaries. That really did happen. More than once. It was a campaign of lies.

The BBC is reporting that "The death toll in a Colombian highway bombing blamed on cocaine-trafficking rebels has risen to 21, the government said on Monday, in the country’s worst attack on civilians in decades and just ahead of elections."

"The attack occurred just over a month before national elections, in which voters will pick a successor to the leftist president, Gustavo Petro."

"Petro blamed the bombing on Iván Mordisco, the alias used by the South American country’s most-wanted criminal, whom the president has compared to the late cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar." Pablo Escobar. Hmmm... "Mordisco is the leader of a dissident faction of the now-defunct Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Farc) that operates in the region."

FARC is the famous paramilitary organization in Colombia who signed a ceasefire agreement with the government. ELN is another paramilitary organization that started bombing againFARC were Communists. So are ELN. One would assume that a FARC dissident would also be Communist. They are objecting to the ceasefire despite the gains FARC achieved through the cease fire.

Google AI claims that "Iván Mordisco (Néstor Gregorio Vera Fernández) is the leader of the Estado Mayor Central (EMC), the largest dissident group of the defunct FARC guerrilla, not the ELN. He controls a powerful criminal organization focused on drug trafficking and extortion, which has engaged in violent conflicts with rival groups, including the ELN."

Google AI also claims that "Iván Mordisco is a far-left, Marxist-Leninist guerrilla leader in Colombia. As the leader of the Estado Mayor Central (EMC), a dissident faction of the former FARC-EP (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia), he commands a group that originated from the far-left ideological spectrum."

So if Iván Mordisco is far left, why would he be trying to help a far right presidential candidate defeated the far left candidate? Half the people in Colombia think these are false flag attacks, the other half don't. Drug trafficking has always been tied to the intelligence agencies trying to meddle in foreign politics.
