This is another example of petty politics with a sinister agenda coveting power. David the sh*tbag Eby is taking advantage of the BC Liberals coup and calling a snap election. According to Elections BC, BC's next provincial election is scheduled for Saturday, October 21, 2028. David Eby is spending even more taxpayers money to call the election early because he thinks he can get more power to spend more money and rack up even more debt.
John Horgan wasn't a bad guy. He left us with a budget surplus. David Eby spent that surplus instantaneously and racked up record unnecessary debt for no reason. This wasn't COVID. This was a child spending his parents money recklessly. David Eby is a bad man. His spending record confirms that.
As we recall, when the BC NDP had a minority government, BC had more freedom during Covid than Alberta did under Jason Kenny. Then John Horgan called a snap election and got more power. That's when they started clamping down on COVID freedoms when everyone else were lightening up. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
There is a Neo Con balance. Trump 2.0 is a literal maniac. Dianne Watts wanted to toll every bridge under the sun. Even bridges that were already paid for. In contrast, the BC NDP removed bridge tolls entirely. John Horgan removed bridge tolls and had a budget surplus. Imagine that. Neo Cons are not Conservatives. They tax and spend more than the left does. Look at how much Trump is spending on the Iran war for Netanyahu's invasion of Lebanon.
Ly'n Brian Mulroney brought in the GST and his pal Stephen Harper brought in the HST. Harper and Mulroney would make reckless cuts followed by reckless spending and we were no further ahead. When Thomas Mulcair ran against Stephen Harper and Justin Trudeau, he was the only one that pledged to balance the budget. So the BC Conservatives need to get their sh*t together.
They need to protect property rights and rejoice over the departure of Peter Milobar and Áʼa꞉líya Warbus. Those are bad people with a bad agenda.
Politics are nothing but theatrics, about as real as pro wrestling. The elites and those with the real power control both sides.
