Suspicious fire at Hells Angels Merch store in Toronto

CBC is reporting that "Toronto police are investigating a fire that broke out Wednesday at a Leslieville retail store connected to the Hells Angels. Fire crews responded to a blaze at 6:22 a.m. at 98 Carlaw Ave., where flames were visible from the front of the building, according to a post by Toronto Fire Services on social media platform X. The fire was extinguished shortly after firefighters arrived." Could be insurance fraud. 

"The fire is now being treated as suspicious, Const. Shannon Eames in an email said in an email Wednesday afternoon. Police are still trying to determine the cause. There was a fire at the same address in 2024."

"A neighbour, whose name CBC News agreed to withhold due to safety concerns, described the scene Wednesday morning. 'I heard a bang. I tried to go back to sleep and then my husband said, Hey there's something going on in front,' they said. The neighbour said the store draws bikers to the area, and there are sometimes 25 bikes at a time parked on the street and revving motors often wake her up." Sounds like the Ontario village idiots alright."
