I hiked the Coquitlam crunch today after work with my cane. I went last week for the first time but got there a bit late. I was in time for the sunset but needed a headlamp for the way down. I'm trying to get back to my baseline before surgery. It's a steep climb at the beginning, 475 steps, about 7 minutes walking. After that it's a comfortable gradual incline. Most people run it but I walked.
There's parking on Lansdown and a parking lot just off Lansdown but a local said you can get parking closer to the beginning of the trail on Runnel Drive but I couldn't see it. He said look for the powerlines overhead. Next time.
