Kamloops woman burned to death in Wiccan ritual
The Vancouver Province is reporting that a Kamloops woman was discovered on fire by emergency responders just after 2 a.m. on Tuesday. Firefighters extinguished the blaze but the 40-year-old died in hospital a few hours later. Police initially suspected suicide, but BC Coroners Service investigators believe the death was accidental. According to posts on Facebook, Carr’s death was the result of a pagan ritual gone wrong.
The National post is reporting that a Heather Carr suffered a fiery death in a supposed pagan ritual “gone horrifically wrong.” They claim she was active among Wiccan groups on social media, operating a Facebook group called Being Pagan Out of the Broom Closet. A post on that page said Carr died as a result of “severe burns suffered in a ritual gone horrifically wrong.”
CBC is reporting that Heather was trapped in a rock structure which was on fire in Riverside Park in the early morning hours of March 31.

If you play with fire ...
ReplyDelete"discovered on fire by emergency responders just after 2 a.m.".....who is awake at 2am to see that and make the call......she must have been burning for a few minutes before they showed up....and since rock doesn't burn, I'm thinking that whatever the ignition source, the actual fuel to keep it going that long was her own body fat....
ReplyDeleteDo kooky stuff, get kooky results.
That park is highly populated by people at night and its right beside a nightclub and downtown
ReplyDeleteShe was also the social worker for the Shornborn (spelling?) Family; the guy who killed his 3 kids in Merritt and the day she did this ritual was the same day they tore down the shornborn family home in Merritt!
ReplyDeleteAn attempt to make the connection between her "accident" (is it really an accident if a mechanic douses himself with brake cleaner to get an oil stain off his shirt and then uses an open flame to help speed the drying process or is that an act of, well, stupidity?) and the pre-planned demolition of the Schoenborn home is nothing less than wishful thinking. Reason informs us of this.
DeleteIf anyone tries to claim her "accident" was a "sacrifice" that enabled something else to occur they would be gravely mistaken.
Would the demolition have taken place regardless of her unstable behaviour that directly caused her death? Yes. Therefore, logic dictates it had nothing to do with it.
I hope you are just stating coincidences and do not believe there is any form of positive supernatural connection.
I find it very troubling BC Social Services would hire such a disturbed person as a social worker!
All the media outlets were emphasizing that part but I didn't think it was relevant just a strange coincidence. Although this case does seem bizarre, I rather not speak ill of the dead in this case. There are a lot of people into a lot of strange things. There are some who claim to be involved in Wicca but are really involved in something else.
