This is a video on an a*shole spray painting a memorial on boulders at the water falls in Golden Ears the day after his friend drowned there. OK so his friend was an idiot and he is an a*shole. That is not a swimming hole. Sometimes people wade into the water at the top of the waterfalls and get swept over. It's a really stupid thing to do. Then by compounding that stupidity by spray painting bolders in a pristine waterfall shows absolutely no regard for nature or anyone else on the planet. That site has existed for thousands if not millions of years.
People come from all over the world to vist that spot. I've visited there with family and friends since I was a kid. The primary rule of hiking is pack out what you pack in and don't vandalize a pristine landmark for future generations.
Obviously this isn't someone born here it's someone fresh off the boat being completely disrespectful to the place he's visiting. Surrey is full of Indo Canadians who are very respectful. These a*sholes spray painting the rock are a disgrace to all of us. If you visit here or anywhere else, you're a guest. Be respectful. This isn't just stupid, it's disrespectful.
Update: Evidently the guy isn't even from India. People are saying he's from Afghanistan. There were two mistakes made here. One was jumping the fence, ignoring the signs and swimming in a pool at the top of a waterfall. That's not very smart. Then spray painting a rock in a pristine forest. Two mistakes shows the kid just wasn't thinking. The moral of the story - don't do that.
A lot of Indo Canadians are security guards and contribute to society. A lot of Indo Canadians are truckers and provide the life bread for Canadiens in grocery stores and all stores. Everything we buy in stores gets transported there by trucks. During the convoy we were untied but that unity has been fractured with racism. During the convoy the fake news kept calling it racist right wing extremists when it was anything but.
Then after the convoy seeds of dissention were planted to disrupt that unity. Videos of a couple guys who bought their licenses went viral and all of a sudden the wave of racism that took over and the flood of unregulated immigration took over. This video is an example of an idiot being an a*shole.
It's a piece of shit rock. I care about the loss of life not a little paint on a rock. Nobody has come from around the world to see this pedestrian sight. Give your head a shake.

The guy who drowned climbed over fences, clearly marked do not enter signs AND did something really stupid. For you to even say that reinforces everyone's else's opinion that you are a POS. We have one POS who has no clue about resect for pristine landmarks and everyone else on the planet and another racist who claims they are all sh*t bags like the guy and the commenter who said it's just a rock. All the young men at my gym are very respectful. You can't paint everyone with the same brush.
