Talal Amer and Tarek El-Rafie in the Calgary gang war

I'm a bit late to the party here but two families appear to be deeply involved in the Calgary gang war. Last year CBC reported that "Talal Amer, 29, faces charges of attempted murder, manslaughter, reckless discharge of a firearm, and several other gun-related offences stemming from a car chase and shooting incident last Tuesday, which ended in a crash involving two unrelated vehicles. Angela McKenzie was killed in the crash. Her death left five children – who lost their father three months ago – orphaned. The man being chased managed to run away after the crash but was found nearby suffering from gunshot wounds."

"Amer is well known to Calgary police and played a role, alongside his brother and two cousins, in Calgary's 2015/2016 gang war marked by family ties and gun violence. In 2016, Calgary police arrested eight men in connection with at least 10 attempted murders including Amer, two of his brothers and two cousins, Badar and Abdul Amer."
In 2019 CBC reported that "Three Calgary men involved in gun violence connected to a 2015 gang war on city streets have been sent to prison after plea deals meant most of their charges were withdrawn. The three men — Tarek El-Rafie and brothers Barakat and Talal Amer — originally faced a total of 25 attempted murder charges as well as organized crime-related offences." We know that the drug trade in Lebanon was run by the CIA.
I'm not sure who's working for who here but the previous Gang war in Calgary was between the FOB and the FK. The Hells Angels supplied the FOB though the Independent Soldiers in BC who have been replaced by the Wolf Pack. The FK were supplied by the UN but that was a long time ago. In the DTES the Wolf Pack were supplying the Redd Alert and their rivals the RK.

Drugs seized after Calgary shooting

CTV is reporting that "Calgary police say a shooting in the community of Woodlands last month led to the seizure of almost $300,000 in illegal drugs and a handful of guns. The shooting happened in 0 to 100 block of Woodview Terrace S.W. at 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 18, leaving one man injured. Paramedics took the victim to hospital in life-threatening condition. Officers searched the hometo make sure there were no other victims, and said during that time they saw several guns and a loaded magazine." The following day, police executed a search warrant, seizing five guns, two full sets of body armour, a half-set of body armour, ammunition and the following drugs:

"Six kilograms of fentany, 1.2 kilograms of methamphetamine, 837 grams of cocaine and 1,607 pills of Xanax as well as seven kilograms of an unknown substance. Omar El Gad, 27, is facing 27 weapons and drug-related charges. In a Monday news release, the Calgary Police Service said addressing gun violence continues to be a priority."

You address gun violence and violent crime by addressing drug trafficking.

The Great Battle on Amazon Prime Video

Update: All of a sudden they changed it to a paid video. Now you have to pay extra to watch it. That sucks. Now I can't finish it. It was good but not that good.

Speaking of Korean drama, this sh*t is off the hook. It's about Korea defending itself against the Tang Dynasty invasion. I don't know how historically accurate it it but it is astounding. You can adjust the preferences for English subtitles. It's better than all the medieval castle battles.

They did take a scene from the movie 300 which was a bit unrealistic but it was very well done. Historically that Korean fortress did indeed face an overwhelming attack from a massive invading army. The Tang dynasty were like the Huns. The movie Mulan was about a hero who defended her people against an invading army. Well that's what the Tang dynasty did to Korea.

That's what Xi Jinping wants to do to Taiwan. Right now Xi Jinping is conflicted. He wants to be seen as a peacemaker but if he invades Taiwan the world will see him as a tyrant. As I said before, Xi Jinping didn't start the organ harvesting of the Falun Gong and the persecution of the Uyghurs, but he could be the one that ends it. Mind how ya go. History is watching.

No snow on the local Vancouver mountains

Wow. Ski conditions on the local mountains are horrible. It's raining with a zero cm base.

The Winds of Change: Facing the rising cost of housing

Yesterday at work I was like Thank God it's Friday. Then I thought can we say that? Are we allowed to say that? What if it offends someone who's an Atheist? What if it offends someone who has a Dr Phil hatred for the Great Architect of the Universe? I guess that's not my problem. That's their problem. That's something they have to process and deal with.

I don't care about religion. There are just as many freaks who support religion as there are who oppose it. I support religious freedom which includes the right to be atheist. The WEF's brand of Communism is obsessed with abolishing religion. The problem with that is once they abolish religion, they then abolish every other civil liberty known to man and that affects everyone including atheists. The WEF wants to remove the God gene from our DNA. That's kind of Dr Phil. That obsession reveals their agenda. They want to turn everyone into mindless slaves.

Today I feel the winds of change. I'm an old man and I'm resistant to change. I always say if it's not broken don't fix it. However, when I do change I don't want to change back. Everyone is concerned with inflation and the cost of housing. Everywhere you go everyone is talking about it. What are our kids going to do? The cost of land and rent is completely out of control.

I remember doing some genealogy and looking up some of my ancestors on my mothers side who came on ships to Halifax from England. Everyone said the reason for leaving England and coming to Canada was because rent and taxes in England were too expensive. Now we're facing the same thing here but there's no place for us to go. That creates stress and anxiety.

It is time to leave. I was born and raised in Metro Vancouver. I love it here. I like hiking, snowshoeing and kayaking and there is plenty of that to do here. The problem is a lot of these places are becoming land locked. Golden Ears and Alouette lake is awesome but in the summer it's so busy you can't even get it. In Winter the ski hills are so packed you can't even get a parking spot. What good are all these wonderful places if you can't access them?

Yesterday I went to pick up a few items at Costco in Langley. I came around the corner to see the end of the line for self check out and it kept going and going all the way to the freezers. I just shook my head and said nope. I am not waiting in that line for these few items. I rode back to Surrey and went to Superstore. It's somewhat ironic that my corner of Surrey was less busy than Langley. When my parents moved to Langley it was rural. The mail came through rural route.

That quickly changed. Langley was known for creating massive subdivisions of large detached houses with the wave of a hand. Everywhere you turned a new sub division was created at the snap of a finger. Walnut Grove sprung up in an instant. I remember the residents used to post signs on 200th street saying Keep Willoughby Rural. At the time I laughed at the thought. It was like holding up a sign that said stop progress. You can't stop the sands of time.

Now, after the Mormons built that beautiful temple in Langley, the housing in Willoughby has literally exploded. Only they're not building sub divisions of large detached houses any more. Land is so expensive now they are building massive town house complexes and high density homes. Yet they're all expensive and people keep moving in. Now when I ride through that area I get anxiety. There's too many people.

I know a lot of people like the big city. I don't. Especially now that I'm old. I like having space to breathe. I like townhouses but I really don't want to live in a condo in a high tower. In Surrey they're building towers. It just makes me think of the 15 minute city. You'll own nothing and you'll be happy. Yeah that's not the life I choose. That means it's time for me to leave.

I've been resistant to that change for many years. I love it here. This is where I was born and raised. I love the mountains. I always thought if I wasn't near the mountains my anxiety would make it difficult for me to breathe. Now I see the road ahead. I love my motorcycle. I love the wind in my face. I took the scenic route home from Langley yesterday because I wanted to get rural away from the crowds. Yet I'm changing. My taste are evolving.

My bike is a cruiser but it's not a Harley. I don't like loud pipes and all the BS that goes with it. I'm not pretending to be anything I'm not. Yet the suspension on my bike sucks. It feels like a rigid frame. You really notice it when you hit a bump or a pot hole at high speeds.

When I was a kid my Virago was like that but it had an air shock you fill up with compressed air. This bike doesn't have that. On my road trip gravel roads sucked. The potholes and the washboard gravel roads were very unpleasant. That British girl I interviewed rode a BMW around the world and the suspension on that was way better.

She went off road and through the desert. I met a guy in a campsite on my road trip who just came back from Alaska on a BMW. My trip to Alaska might be more enjoyable on something different. I'm leaning towards the Triumph Tiger. I want to go rural and rugged. I want to go off the beaten path. That Vespa I took off road on Savory Island was a blast. I'm not going to ride a Vespa to work but if I was in Italy or Vietnam, I'd ride a Vespa in a heartbeat.

So I do feel the winds of change. This old man is evolving. The rough stone rolling down the hill becomes a smooth shaft. I always thought when I retire I can move anywhere I want. Yet now a lot of people can work remotely from home. If someone can work remotely from home, they have no reason to live in the big city. In the big cities, people are easier to control. They can lock you down and shut off your power. They can even ban cars. They can't do that in rural areas.

Heating homes with natural gas is clean and cheap. The fake environmentalists want to ban natural gas because they are fake environmentalists. People are moving to Alberta because Alberta has the political will to resist the WEF's fake environmentalism. In rural areas having an electric generator that uses natural gas means you are prepared for an emergency. You are self reliant. That government doesn't want you to be self reliant. They want you dependent on them for everything. As my Russian neighbor used to say first they give you cake. Then they starve you. After that, you take whatever they give you.

The freedom to move is a charter right. The right to smoke crystal meth in public is not. The reason why the globalists promote public drug use and gun violence is because they are creating a problem to justify their preplanned reaction. It's the problem, reaction, solution paradigm.

In the US we see the globalists promote drugs and crime to justify the creation of a federal police force. They want to centralize the power and centralize the control of that power. This is why Justin Trudeau is resistant to rooting out RCMP corruption in the leadership. He doesn't want law enforcement. He wants a SS to stifle dissent. Slavery is their end game.

So I'm moving. Not today, not tomorrow but before I retire. That means there is a plan in place and I am much more hopeful about the future. I can see the road ahead and it looks awesome. Rural communities will continue to grow. Eventually the time will come for us to move again. The key thing is we have to keep moving. We have to keep moving forward.

Chief Justice Christopher Hinkson is a Freak

The Canadian Press is reporting that "The British Columbia Supreme Court has blocked new provincial laws against public consumption of illegal substances, prompting concern from the government and a Metro Vancouver mayor who called the decision pathetic."

That decision isn't just pathetic - it's straight up satanic. Christopher Hinkson needs to be fired immediately. He is clearly unfit for office. He's worse than Peter Leask. Using illegal harmful drugs in public is NOT a charter right. It's already illegal. He threw out all those Covid cases as well.

Gordon Campbell appointed this clown to the Supreme Court in 2007 and Christy Clark made that clown Chief Justice in 2013. God damn you. All of you. Remove him from the bench.

Illegal drugs are illegal just like stealing or murder is. Judges are required to uphold the law not break the law. They don't have the authority to break the law. They don't have the right to say a criminal should go free if he breaks the law. They don't have the right to legalize rape or theft. They are bound by the law they are required to uphold. Judges who break the law aren't just salt that's lost it's flavor. They are criminals that deserve to go to jail. Imprison him.

Head of RCMP's advisory board resigns

CBC is reporting that "Pointing to his frustrations with the federal government, the head of the RCMP's Management Advisory Board has resigned after less than a year in the chair. In his September resignation letter, released to CBC through an access to information request, Roach said he was stepping down with regrets."

"'I took this position on the understanding that the government was committed in the minister of public safety's mandate letter to enhancing the Management Advisory Board to create an oversight role over the RCMP,'" he wrote to Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc. 'Unfortunately, I have seen no signs of such a commitment.'"

Big surprise. They destroyed Cameron Ortis' life just because they wanted to remove civilian oversight. Nothing has changed. That's why the RCMP need to be changed and replaced.

You want to make CSIS accountable? Good luck with that : )

Trans mountain pipeline overruns and SNC Lavalin

OK we're getting conflicting reports here. Costs on the finalization of the Trans Mountain pipeline are skyrocketing. Now we clearly see biased reporting on both sides. In March Reuters reported that "Trans Mountain oil pipeline expansion costs surge 44% to C$30.9 billion." Big surprise. In 2019 BIV reported that "SNC-Lavalin buys Trans Mountain project from feds." Yet this article by the deep dive mentions further delays and spitefully refers to the nationalization of the pipeline.

OK if the pipeline was nationalized that would be an awesome idea but if it's being built by SNC Lavalin or any of their shell companies that is an insane idea. The BC NDP gave the contract for the new Pattullo bridge to SNC Lavalin. You can't get any more f*cked up than that.

SNC Lavalin has pulled a Blackwater and changed their name because of the bad press.

We need the pipeline but we don't need SNC Lavalin to build it.

"Atkins is a Canadian-British multinational engineering, design, planning, architectural design, project management and consulting services company. It is a subsidiary of SNC-Lavalin and is headquartered in London. The company was founded as W. S. Atkins & Partners by Sir William Atkins in 1938." They do a lot of business in Saudi Arabia. Nuclear power is not clean energy.

SNC Lavalin are also responsible for the colossal budget over runs at the Site C Dam.

Xi Jinping claims reunification of Taiwan inevitable

The Deop Dive is reporting that "In a speech commemorating the 130th anniversary of Mao Zedong’s birth, Chinese President Xi Jinping declared that Taiwan’s unification with mainland China is inevitable. The president vowed to prevent any attempts to split Taiwan from China” and hinted at a personal commitment to realizing the unification that eluded Mao during his lifetime."

That is not good. My idealistic attempts at diplomacy have failed.
