Fatal shooting in Surrey Id'd

Update: The name of the victim is Satwinder SharmaCSIS hires local gang members to shoot people who won't pay their extortion. CSIS orchestrated the South Asian extortion in Alberta and Ontario as well as the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

CTV is reporting that "A man is dead after a shooting in Surrey’s Fleetwood neighbourhood Wednesday afternoon. Officers from the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit were called to the scene on 84 Avenue near 160 Street around 3:45 p.m., the Surrey Police Service said in a news release. The site is across the street from Fleetwood Community Centre."

  1. This is horrific. I live in that neighbourhood within a close proximity to the Community Centre and Library. I was on my way home from work yesterday and almost walked down 84th Avenue but decided to stop off at a local gas station for a slushy instead just to cool off. I feel that I dodged a bullet. When I saw all those police SUVs with yellow tape closing off 84th Ave. between Venture Way and 160, it dawned on me that something major happened. From what I found out, the person who got shot has died. It’s an East Indian man that worked at the Hair Salon.
If I’m being honest, I’ve called Fleetwood home for almost 30 years and if anything, this whole neighbourhood is really going down straight the toilet. Every single day in Fleetwood, I see nothing but disgusting meth heads openly smoking crack pipes in public places. They use drugs in the grocery store lot along Fraser Highway between 164 and 152nd St. Every time I see these low lives, I just report them to the police because no one else will. I find that a lot of people in this neighbourhood are complacent. Maybe it’s a generalization, but that’s the vibe that I’ve been getting these days. I tried to submit a news story to the folks at Surrey Now leader about this issue… No response. Post Media News is Garbage.

    1. Both my parents lived in care homes right there before they died. Meth heads sound new. That's not good. We need to remember that most of those drug addicts are violent criminals so public safely is always a factor.

  2. There is little chance that you calling it in ever did any good. Sorry. Good on you for trying though.

    1. It’s always the same song and dance. By the time cops arrive either the suspects are gone or they just “chat them up” and “move them on”, which is useless since those disgusting meth heads just move across the street to hide. Anyone that defends this deplorable behaviour is a brainless naive idiot.

    2. Well the only people who would defend that would be the Police.

    3. What business did Satwinder Sharma even have with these extortionists and how are they even getting away with smuggling guns? Is it just me or has law-enforcement completely lost control of this whole gang warfare/extortionist situation?

    4. I don't think gang warfare has anything to do with it. It would appear that intelligence agencies are hiring local gang members to do shootings.

  3. Believe me, I’ve spoken with a few cops who all have said that this whole open drug use issue is a “big sword in our side“. They hate dealing with this issue. These useless NDP laws make cops feel like toothless tigers given that they can’t even make an arrest. Somewhere along the way you’re going to get disagreements from a typical Canadian liberal. Typical Canadian liberals blame the crime on everything and everyone else, but the criminals themselves. If a drug addict or thief gets tackled by police or security, that’s their problem. They should smarten up and make an honest living. Lay off the drugs and grow up. Nonetheless, it’s Surrey. And we’re stuck with David Eby for the next few years, so I’m not holding my breath any further.

    1. The open drug use is a huge concern. Police are allowed to enforce the law. Usually it's just enforced if they're getting violent or creating a disturbance. However, all these large scale under cover drug busts Ontario is doing, BC isn't doing them. That's not Eby's fault that's the CFSEU's fault.
