Investing dot com is reporting that " An international consortium including Air Canada, AtkinsRealis Group and France's SNCF has won a C$3.9 billion six-year contract to help develop a high-speed passenger rail network in eastern Canada, Ottawa said on Wednesday. The contract covers the first stage of planning the network, which would span approximately 1,000 km (620 miles) from Quebec City to Toronto and allow trains to reach speeds of up to 300 kph (186 mph)."
AYFKM? AtkinsRealis Group is SNC Lavalin. So CSIS Sammy Cooper is going off about Justin Trudeau's previous SNC Lavalin bid when all the political parties across the country are still giving them more contracts. This should not be happening but it is. Ask yourself why. Trudeau’s high-speed rail to be built by SNC-Lavalin rebranded as AtkinsRéalis
They’re privatizing Via. This is like when Mulroney privatized Air Canada and Petro Canada. If Mulroney hadn’t privatized Petro Canada and if Harper had never sold it to China and the King of Malaysia, Canadians would never need to pay any taxes because we would be incredibly rich. But no, we’re stuck paying Mulroney GST under Mulroney’s broken NAFTA treaty with the US because cuckservatives are a bunch of sellout betacucks and you can fuck right off back to Russia.
ReplyDeleteRussia doesn't have anything to do with it but Mulroney and Harper were indeed tax and spend globalists and Harper did sell Alberta oil rights to Communist China. So once again we see far left and far right are exactly the same - corrupt.
DeleteMore than that, ask why all B.C.'s tax money is being spent in the East, Some more. Again. SNC are crooks and need to be charged. JT as well.
ReplyDeleteSNC Lavalin are indeed crooks but I don't think it's a matter of BC tax dollars being spent out east. SNC Lavalin scam far more tax dollars in Ontario and Quebec than in BC but the fact that SNC Lavalin got the contract for the Site D Dam needs to be discussed. They shouldn't have got that contract and it is way over budget as a result.
DeleteAgreed.
DeleteI'm wondering if there are figures available as to how much tax money we send to Ottawa is returned to us, vs how much of Ontario and Quebec's taxes come back to them.
DeleteI don't know the number but I do know the population of Ontario and Quebec is much larger than BC so the taxes they collect on all those workers is a lot more that what's collected in BC.
DeleteAlways charbineau commission ?
ReplyDeleteI think the primary difference between BC and Quebec is the fact that Quebec conducts corruption inquiries while BC doesn't. BC is so bad they don't even investigate it.
DeleteThere's a meme going around based on a character in the show "The Office". It says "When you find fraud and people are screaming at you to stop"......."They're the ones doing the fraud." We could add, "or protecting those who are". Because it's probably similar in this, "the people who say we don't need an investigation", or "the people who closed down the Ports Police"...or.....you get the idea.
DeleteThe amount of fraud they are finding down south right now (people supposedly 160 years old collecting Social Security") is probably an indicator that we have similar levels of government corruption up here. If we don't look, we don't find. Once we get this idea in our heads and the bit between our teeth, we can expect "the powers that be" to poo-poo the idea of investigations and such. Then we'll know who. They will tell us. "Say you're a crook without telling us you're a crook."
