Surrey Police investigate extortion victim for shooting back

CBC is reporting that "Surrey police investigating as people allegedly return fire after home targeted by extortion." AYFKM? "A Surrey, BC, police spokesperson confirms that an extortion-related shooting on Saturday saw people in the targeted residence try to shoot back." Heaven forbid.

"The shooting in the Bear Creek neighbourhood did not result in any injuries, and police confirmed Monday that they're looking into reports that people in the residence allegedly fired back."

CBC is also reporting that "Police probing 35th case of suspected extortion in Surrey, B.C, this year." Under Canadian law people are authorized to use reasonable force against a violent attack. Reasonable force against a lethal attack is lethal force. Investigating someone for shooting back when the number of extortion related shootings run rampant is insane and immoral. The preamble to the Canadian Charter of Rights states that We believe in the supremacy of God and the rule of law." It does not say we support the lawlessness we are now witnessing with all this extortion violence.

If you shoot back you do have to be aware what's behind your target so no innocent bystander gets hit but for f*ck sakes. Investigating someone for shooting back is absolutely shameful. All this extortion is tied to CSIS and the government of India.
