CTV is reporting that "Air Transat says it plans to resume operations to and from Puerto Vallarta on Tuesday, as the situation stabilizes."

  1. From Vancouver own a winter place here. Woke up this morning to lots of smoke everywhere and cops and military all over Would be surprised if gunmen at airport, as my son was on one of the last flights in. He said lots of military presence but no gunman or lock down. Puerto Vallerta has always had a ton of cartel action, visible everywhere in the old town section. Always seemed like a place cartels would take their R and R. Walked down to dinner tonight no big deal.I am surprised they decided to shit in their own backyard so to speak.

    1. Yeah the gunfire sounds strange but all the people at the airport were running from something.

    1. I imagine with a shelter in place advisory. We know of a 80 year old man who's wife died so he went there to remember her because that's where they used to go together. He's been stranded for days in the airport with no food or water.

    4. Airport has been open all day

    5. If that's true, then hopefully the media will catch up with that fact. Anyone can pretend to be anyone and claim anything anonymously.

    6. Looks like you're right. Nothing in the news yet but the airport website has a list of flights. Blaze often pretends to be this and that offering a whole lot of false intel. https://thepuertovallartaairport.com/departures/

    10. Yeah evidently. He's always claiming oh I'm this or that and I'm like no you're not. It was pretty ironic Dan Dicks just happened to be in Puerto Vallarta. I guess it's such a popular place for Canadians to visit.

    1. A lot of beautiful places. The cartel violence can be off the hook.

  4. Its gonna get worse the more pressure they put on them. The new breed is very different they will think nothing of killing tourists on mass if things get tough on them. The feeding funnel of cartel recruiting is endless and will not ever stop the only way is to legalize drugs. Matk my words its going to get worse and in the very near future and in areas previously considered safe as well.

    1. That is Satan talking. Legalize drugs. GMAFB. Pot's legal and that hasn't changed anything. Legalizing crack, crystal meth and fentanyl is not the answer. The problem we now experience is listening to those brain dead lobbyists too much. It's unusual for the cartel to target tourists. They don't want to swing public opinion.

    2. Youll see the game has changed with the new generation of cartel. And yes legalizing drugs is the only solution and marijuana is legal now and I know alot of the black market growers are now out of business so what are you even talking about? What is your solution?

    3. That is ridiculous and I'm not going to argue about it. I simply disagree. This site is not for the promotion of harmful drugs. My solution is simple. Law and Order. Not a police state, just common sense. The liberal sh*t holes with no laws are insane.

The war on drugs hasn't failed because it's unwinnable. It's failed because we never fought it. I saw the New York Model succeed in the /80s based on enforcement. Now New York has gone back to being a liberal sh*t hole. That is not the kind of society I want to live in. I don't want to live in an ICE prison either. I want to balance the extremes with common sense. Something that is seriously lacking in our society.

    4. There's already talk all over jalisco and nayarit that there will be another uprising in 2 weeks . Some restraunts are closing early for the season due to meat deliveries being held up between Sonora and Guadalajara
