Edmonton Oilers meet the Florida Panthers in the Stanley cup final again

The Edmonton Oilers beat the Dallas Stars last night 6-3. Edmonton scored three goals in the first 8 minutes which caused Dallas to call a time out and put in their back up goalie. They won the series 4 games to 1 and face the Florida Panthers on Wednesday.

They faced Florida in the Stanley cup final last year but their goalie was unbeatable and fell behind. Then when they finally figured out how to beat their goalie they had an amazing comeback which took the series to a heartfelt game 7 which they lost. This year Edmonton is hot.

Everyone is hopeful. I'm not a hockey guy but a lot of other Canadians are. Connor McDavid is a Canadian hero who plays for the Oilers and scored the winning goal against US for team Candace. Connor McDavid is from Ontario originally.

I guess Edmonton beat Dallas in the Western conference finals last year as well. Edmonton certainly isn't the largest city in Canada. It's smaller than Vancouver and Vancouver is tiny compared to Toronto and Montreal. Yet Edmonton always puts out an awesome hockey team. A lot better than Vancouver.

New Series on the Nova Scotia Mass murders

I'm launching a new series of podcasts and blog posts about the Nova Scotia mass murders June 10th. It starts the new season of podcasts off with an interview from investigative journalist and accomplished author Paul Palango on the launch of his new book Anatomy of a Cover-Up: The Truth about the RCMP and the Nova Scotia Massacres.

In that explosive interview, Paul casually drops a bombshell confirming previous suspicions. After setting the stage by explaining about the scientific method and the conspiracy spectrum, I'm going to continue the series with a few blog posts connecting several other bombshell revelations about the case to complete the picture of a very dark and very real conspiracy in our midst. Stay tuned. It all begins June 10th.

Inmate sold drugs in New Brunswick prison

Yahoo News is reporting that "A drug dealer who conspired to traffic fentanyl and crystal meth while serving a prison sentence for drug trafficking is facing a lengthy period of incarceration. Mark Vetesnik, 45, stood trial and was recently convicted, and he returned to Moncton provincial court by video conference from prison on Thursday for a sentencing hearing."

"Prosecutor Christian Girouard asked for 15 years in prison, saying Vetesnik is beyond rehabilitation. He said the offender has four prior drug offences on his record, was dealing in huge quantities of deadly substances and conspired with others while incarcerated at Springhill Institution in Nova Scotia."

"The prosecutor pointed out Vetesnik’s crimes involved two kilograms of fentanyl and eight kilograms of crystal meth." He was also convicted of mailing counterfeit $50 and $100 bills in Manitoba.

Fatal shooting in Calgary

CTV is reporting that "Part of a Calgary neighbourhood was locked down for most of the day on Tuesday for a shooting. Police were called to the home in Patterson Heights, just after 8:30 a.m. Police discovered a man inside who was dead, and a woman who’d been assaulted. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries."

The Calgary Herald is reporting that "Uniformed and plain clothes officers could be seen examining a revolver-style handgun that had apparently been dropped just in front of the home’s three-vehicle garage." That would be a throw away. An Unregistered illegal firearm imported from the US that can't be traced. That's why they left it at the scene.

Two shootings at a house in Surrey. High end neighbourhoods.

Ontario Police seize 1.4 kilos offentanyl

CTV is reporting that "York Regional Police seized 15 firearms and more than 1,400 grams of raw fentanyl following a months-long investigation into a drug trafficking ring in Georgina, Ont."

4 kilos of crystal meth seized in Regina

CJME is reporting that "Two searches by Regina Police Service that found four kilograms of methamphetamine as well as cocaine, cash and a number of firearms have resulted in charges for a 25-year-old Regina man. The searches came after an investigation by the Regina Police Service Drug Unit, police said in a news release on May 26 and both happened on May 20." Four kilos, that's huge. BC is the only jurisdiction that doesn't do these kid of drug busts. Ask yourself why.

6AK_TV posted this on X. Take a look at some of the firearms the CBSA seized at the Yukon Border. Two Jack Sparrow Pirates of the Caribbean pistols. Those things are over 100 years old. They aren't even regulated. They are collector pieces. If they were fried they'd probably blow up.

Australian faces death penalty for drug trafficking in Bali

The Nightly is reporting that "Nearly 20 years after a group of Australians were sentenced to the death penalty in Indonesia over an attempt to smuggle drugs out of the country, another Australian man could now the firing squad over an alleged $1.1 million drug bust."

The Independent is reporting that "An Australian man has been arrested in Bali and could face execution by firing squad after Indonesian authorities accused him of receiving and intending to distribute 1.7kg of cocaine on the island."

"Lamar Aaron Ahchee, 43, originally from Cairns in northern Queensland, was taken into custody last Thursday in the beachside area of Canggu, following a joint surveillance operation by Bali police and customs officials."

Death by firing squad. Drug trafficking in those countries just isn't worth it.

Fatah urges Hamas to cede power

France 24 us reporting that: "'Hamas must show compassion for Gaza, its children, women and men,' Fatah spokesman Monther al-Hayek said in a message sent to AFP from Gaza. He called on Hamas to 'step aside from governing and fully recognize that the battle ahead will lead to the end of Palestinians' existence' if it remains in power in Gaza. Hamas seized power in Gaza in 2007 from the Fatah-dominated Palestinian Authority, and subsequent attempts at reconciliation have failed."

This is the answer. Replace the Hamas Mossad created with Fatah. Gaza needs local representation. Not Agent Provocateurs in Qatar that work for Netanyahu.

Michael Jackson, Antisemitism and Pedophelia

Candace Owens did a deep dive on some of the allegations about Michael Jackson and the smear campaign the media launched on him after he took on Sony and some of the producers who were ripping him off. He named Tommy Mottola from Sony who was Italian and named several other people ripping him off who were also Jewish. For that he was labeled antisemitic as well as a pedophile. There's some interesting history about some of the allegations that I was not aware of.

Wikipedia states that "They Don't Care About Us was performed as part of a medley with Scream and In the Closet during Jackson's third and final concert series, the HIStory World Tour, which ran from 1996 to 1997. The song was set to be performed on Jackson's This Is It comeback concert series at The O2 Arena in London from July 2009 to March 2010, but the shows were cancelled due to his sudden death in June 2009."
