Finding political balance and religious balance

When voters see Tulsi Gabbard and Donald Trump completely flip on their most important election promises many are left heartbroken and disillusioned. They all lie, cheat and steal. It's hopeless. It's not hopeless. That's why they lie, cheat and steal. 

They have to con you to get away with it. That's why Americans pledge allegiance to the flag and swear an oath to defend the Constitution. Ideals can't be bought. People can. Yet a rich man's vote is worth the same as a poor man's vote. That's why they spend so much time and energy lying to you. 

Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene didn't betray MAGA. Donald Trump and Tulsi Gabbard did. Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene still believe in the same principles Trump said he would endorse but didn't in his second term. 

This life lesson has taught us that blind devotion to anything is blind. There is good and bad in every political party. That's why we have to recognize and denounce when our party says and does things that are wrong just like when the other party does. As Abraham Lincoln said, stand with any man as long as he stands right, but part with him when he goes wrong. 

No two people agree on every issue. Likewise no two people disagree on every issue. We can always find common ground. Things that we can agree on. Many motivational speakers declare that it's not how many times you get knocked down in a fight but how many times you get up. If you give up, you lose.

I keep referring to politics like a pendulum that swings from left to right. Jean Chrétien was horrible with money but so was Stephen Harper. They just spent taxpayer's money on different things. Just like Trump. Trump was supposed to reduce the debt. He did not. He spent more than any leftist Liberal. 

Yet Jean Chrétien was right for not participating in the unlawful invasion of Iraq based on a lie. Just like Mark Carney is right for not assisting in the provoked oil war with Iran. Pierre Poilievre would. That concerns me. He sells the liberation lie. MEK are a terrorist cult that helped Saddam Hussein gas Iranians with chemical weapons. Saving Iranians is a lie. 

That makes Pierre Poilievre a Neo Con like Stephen Harper. Stephen Harper didn't do everything wrong. Getting rid of the long gun registry was a good thing. But he did do a lot of bad things. He raised taxes (GST) and wasted tax dollars on corrupt things (Insider trading Jets). He raised the age of retirement then spent that money in other areas. I rather spend money on seniors and health care than SNC Lavalin.  

Rand Paul would balance the budget and stop the oil wars. That would save North America. If we don't stop this out of control reckless spending we will all become slaves. That's why we can't give up. We need to keep trying and keep speaking out.

Religious Balance

Finding balance in religion seems even more difficult but it's really common sense. The Freedom of religion means exactly that. Adapting a state religion is a violation of the US Constitution and the Canadian Charter of Rights. 

Religious persecution is always tied to lies and defamation. People scour social media for examples of extremism to justify their extreme response to that extremism.

Christ confronted hypocrisy. He said the religious leaders at the time were liars, hypocrites and extortionists. He even went so far as to call them children of the Devil because their actions or their fruits were evil. Christ's chastizement could apply to any religion or person that says one thing and does another. 

When I see the far right religious extremism in Israel or anywhere else for that matter, I see delusional animals twisting religion into something evil. That's what Christ confronted.

Videos of young Jews in West bank spitting on and bullying Gentiles. They look like animals. They don't look Godly. Sexually assaulting prisoners is a defiant violation of Judaism. Back in the day they would be stoned for doing that. Now a corrupt court lets them off which only empowers their evil acts. 

So when we see all this religious extremism we see bad people taking good intentions and twisting them to rationalize evil. Christ said by their fruits ye shall know them. One of the duties of the Levites was to read out the cursings of disobedience to the commandments. Those cursings are frighteningly extreme.

That's why you can't take one scripture out of context like Netanyahu does. Netanyahu said God will bless those that help Israel and curse those that fight Israel. He is delusional. That's only in righteousness. If they keep the commandments which he clearly is not. The Bible says if Israel breaks it's covenant God will take the curses of their enemies and place those curses on Israel seven fold. (Leviticus 26:18, 21, 24 & 28) Again that is extreme.

Muslims and Christians get along just fine in Gaza and in Bethlehem. My hijab wearing Muslim neighbours named one of their younger sons Jesus. The Neo Cons want to divide us with lies and fill us with hate. It's important to see through the lies and not cave in to the hate. 

Balancing religion really isn't difficult. It's common sense. As Robert M. Pirsig said, we don't need anyone to tell us what is good and evil. We can all see it for ourselves.

Jean Chrétien and the Iraq War: Pierre Poilievre and Iran

As we balance the extremes let's take a look at the obvious. George Bush invaded Iraq based on a lie. MI6 helped sell that lie in the fake news under Operation Mass Appeal.

Bush said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. We know it. Then when they invaded they found no WMD and said Mission Accomplished. WMD had nothing to do with it. That was just another oil war supporting the Saudi monopoly. 

When MI6 was lying in the media Dr David Kelly, who was the British weapons inspector in Iraq at the time said that was a lie. So they killed him. The point is the invasion of Iraq was based on a lie and they knew it. Tony Blair knew it.

Jean Chrétien was Prime Minister of Canada at the time and he did not join that war for good reason. He was right. Stephen Harper would have. That would have been wrong but we all know he would have defiantly proceeded unilaterally regardless of the lie. Just like Pierre Poilievre would blindly support Trump's attack in Iran and his delusional wars if he was Prime minister. 

Mark Carney's Liberals get campaign contributions from the Israeli Neo Cons just like Pierre Poilievre does. We can see Carney start to bend regardless of the defiant lies and atrocities the Iran war is based on. We need to keep pushing back against the lies without becoming bitter and extreme. 

So how do we find the balance between Mark Carney's criminally negligent deficits and his blind devotion to the WEF with Pierre Poilievre's blind devotion to the Neo con wars based on lies? It's a tough call. We are indeed stuck between a rock and a hard place. Trump's Neo Con wars are just as fiscally irresponsible as Joe Biden and Mark Carney. 

Personally I rather spend money on seniors and health care than killing civilians and committing genocide. All these oil wars to drive up the price of oil and inflation are pure evil. There's nothing noble about them at all. We need to admit that. 

If we don't, we'll have no money to fight the real war when it finally does come. Right now the Neo Con oil wars and SNC Lavalin are a far greater threat to our sovereignty than any foreign country. It still revolves around the Five Eyes lies.

Danielle Smith says Iran war underscores need for new Alberta pipeline to the coast

Global is reporting that "Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says the war in Iran underscores the need for a new pipeline connecting her province’s oil reserves to the West Coast."

OK hold on for one second. There already is a pipeline from Alberta to Vancouver. In fact, taxpayers are already twinning that pipeline. Does she want a third pipeline? 

Danielle Smith is really determined to turn Alberta into a welfare state. We want Canadian taxpayers to build pipelines for us so we can make money. Private companies used to build pipelines with their money as an investment. Kinder Morgan ran the project until they bailed when they saw political opposition so Justin Trudeau bought it with tax dollars. 

Yet we still keep getting shafted at the pumps in Metro Vancouver. In fact, people are saying the Iran war could mean billions for Alberta and trillions for Saudi. Why is that? 

It's because when you cut supply the price of oil spikes and Saudi makes more money. So will Alberta at the expense of tax paying consumers. Danielle Smith is seizing the opportunity to make even more money from federal tax dollars.

When you read the headline you're left thinking maybe she means a third pipeline will help reduce the cost of gas at the pump for Metro Vancouver consumers but that's not what she's talking about. She's talking about selling more oil to China. 

That will have zero effect on lowering  the price of gas at the pumps for Vancouver. The problem with the price of gas at the pump in Vancouver is the fact that we send the unrefined oil from Alberta to Washington State who refine it and sell it back to us at a profit. That's the problem we face.

That is why we have the highest gas prices in all of Canada. So before we build a third, fourth or fifth pipeline in BC we need to build a refinery to ease the burden for tax paying consumers who are shareholders in the Trans Mountain pipeline. 

The other day I filled up in Langley at 204.9. Today it was 207.9. That is Donald Trump's manufactured emergency that not only caters to his puppet master Neo Con Netanyahu, but to his bffs in Saudi that gave him the luxury jet and convinced Trump to flip on domestic production in exchange for $2 billion in Jared Kushner's hedge fund. 

Which forces us to ask why is Danielle Smith really taking trips to Saudi on a private jet? Saudi see Alberta as a competitor. In his first term Donald Trump got America off their dependence on Saudi oil and Joe Biden got them back on it. Trump was going to fix that in his second term but all the Saudi bribes prevented him from doing it. Now tax paying consumers are suffering because of it. Is Danielle Smith taking trips to Saudi to sell out Albertans like Donald Trump did?

Or is she just selling out Canadian consumers by agreeing to Saudi's terms of reducing domestic production to keep the prices high while she sells all the surplus to China since Stephen Harper sold our oil rights to China years ago. 

There are a lot of dirty deals going on here and we need to shed the light on them. Before we build a third pipeline to China we need to build a refinery in BC. That is what we need to do.

If you ship refined oil to China it will require less ships and you'll make more money. You'll send more oil on fewer ships and reduce transportation costs. That means more profit.

The trending meme states: "We won. We're winning. Send help." Iran is a much smaller country than the US. If the US and Israel can't handle Iran without help, what on earth are they going to do when Russia or China say enough is enough and confront the bullies after all their money is spent picking on little guys? Pride cometh before the fall and great shall be the fall thereof. The pride cycle continues so it does.

The BBC is reporting that "Venezuela has beaten Team USA to claim the World Baseball Classic (WBC) for the first time in a thrilling final. Donald Trump wants to take Cuba

On Monday Donald Trump said he felt he would be the one honoured with the legacy of taking Cuba. He said it twice on camera. He said take not liberate. That guy is a delusional mental retard. The purpose of the American Revolution and the Declaration of Independence was to break free of Imperialism not to become an Imperialist.

Providing for the common defense meant helping protect people from Imperialists not to make them slaves of Imperialism. It meant liberating people from conquerors not becoming one. Trump thinks he's Genghis Khan for f*ck's sake. He dreams of becoming a global bully like Hitler. He has lost his mind.

This ego maniac is obsessed with trophies. He wanted Canada to become the 51st state. He wanted to invade Greenland. He kidnapped the president of Venezuela based on two lies. First he claimed Maduro was a drug dealer. 

That was a lie. Venezuela is not a big player in the drug trade. The only drugs they had came from the CIA. He said that right after he pardoned the former President of Honduras he supported for drug trafficking. So the whole confronting drug dealers gas lighting was another great big lie.  

Then Trump lied and said it wasn't a military operation it was a law enforcement operation. He made that lie to violate the Constitution and launch military action without a vote in Congress. Then he starts another war without a vote in Congress by bombing Iran. They had done nothing wrong. 

He starts bombing civilians and dared to call them terrorists. Then he begs the world for help to defend the Straight of Hormuz after he refused to notify or include them. Iran is a tiny country compared to the United States. He shouldn't need help to defeat Iran any more than Israel should receive help to defeat Gaza. No one wants to help them bomb civilians and commit war crimes to satisfy his Napoleonic ego. 

Trump has created another humanitarian crisis in Cuba by cutting off all fuel. He is not a good guy. Trump has gone from freedom fighter to super villain and the world can see it.

Tulsi Gabbard is a dirty POS. Up until now she's been silent as Kash Patel broke all their election promises and Dan Bongino jumped ship. Now she finally came out of the closet backing Trump for breaking all their election promises. 

They said no more regime change wars. They said no more never ending wars. She opposed the Democrat war machine and sold No Iran War t-shirts. Now she's completely flipped the script and said because Trump was elected he can break all his election promises in Iran.

Irish Music on Saint Patrick's Day

It's Saint Paddy's Day once again and for me it's always a time to pour a pint of holy water and reflect on our blessings as we watch the world crumble from compulsive lies. They say the Brits have grit and the Irish have heart yet the Irish have endured many hardships so they have.

Irish music is both happy and sorrowful. When we think of Irish music a few songs come to mind. The Town I loved so well about Derry. A Nation Once again and of course Erin go bragh Tiocfaidh ár lá. Am I allowed to say that?

Erin go bragh means Ireland Forever while Tiocfaidh ár lá means our day will come. A hopeful shout with faith in better days ahead. The Merry Ploughboy states I have always hated slavery since the day that I was born as have I. Then there's the Rhythm of Time by Bobby Sands.

There are never ending playlists of Irish music featuring the Irish drum called the bodhrán, the tin whistle and the fiddle. 

The violin is a magnificent instrument like the cello, double base and viola. They are all elegant and uplifting. Several years ago I heard someone refer to the violin as the fiddle and I shuddered. It sounded so diminishing. Yet the Irish fiddle is fun and feisty like hard shoe Irish dancing. 

The Irish drum is pretty much identical to the First Nations drum but when you change the way you hold and use the drumstick the sound and feel changes completely. 

It's the same way with the Irish fiddle. In Irish music the sound is different. It's like the difference between the Surrey Youth Orchestra and the Abbotsford Your Orchestra. My son played in both when he was young. 

The Surrey Youth Symphony were all technical masters, kicking ass on all these complicated classical compositions but they were traditional sitting in an orchestra. The Abbotsford Youth Symphony would move and dance like Lindsey Stirling. Both were magnificent but both were very different. One time the Abbotsford Youth Symphony play a waltz by Johann Strauss.

While they were doing that, they had a couple flowing across the floor doing a traditional waltz. It was stunning. After the performance I spoke with the couple and the woman said she used to remember her grandmother say she used to be able to dance x number of Strauss waltz without taking a break. 

Then it dawned on me. A Strauss waltz was meant to be danced. Sitting in the symphony is great but it's incomplete. It needs to be danced to be fully appreciated.

Lord of the Dance is another famous Irish hymn. It was originally about Christ. Michael Flatley changed that and made it all about him. Somewhat arrogant and pointless.

The harp usually sounds like elevator music but Loreena McKennitt makes the Celtic harp come alive. I saw her perform in Victoria many years ago. She wrote a powerful peace called Dante's Prayer after reading Dante's Inferno while on a train across Siberia. That's when I came up with Finian's Inferno itemizing the suffering and injustices I've seen in my travels. 

Her song makes me think of the hymn I feel the winds of God today only today I lower my sail and anchor in safe harbour. Right now the global injustices are overwhelming. Behind the dark clouds the sun is still shining but it's pretty hard to see it. 

Whitecaps played Minneapolis in Vancouver

The Whitecaps played Minneapolis and someone said it was 6-0. I jokingly replied for the Whitecaps? Evidently it was. I was shocked. I had heard the Whitecaps had started wining some games but that is surprising. Historically the Whitecaps have always been like the Canucks. We are used to them losing.

James Rodriguez from Colombia debuted with Minneapolis. James is pronounced Ham es. Thomas Müller from Germany is another famous player who's now with the Whitecaps. They both previously played together for Bayern Munich and exchanged Jerseys at the end of today's match.
