Fall colors in Whistler

We drove out to Whistler yesterday. We left early and caught the sunrise over Blackcomb. The gondolas weren't running. They only operate in the summer and winter. Traffic there was smooth sailing but was bumper to bumper coming back before the Second Narrows bridge. Such is life.

You can really notice the fall colors beginning. Amidst the evergreens you can see a backdrop of yellow, orange and red. The red leaves are very noticeable especially the red maple leaves. I guess that's why it's Canada's national symbol. Fall represents change and we are hopeful this fall will bring many changed to Surrey, BC, Alberta and the United States. Time will tell.

Right now we have the same colors in Surrey.
