City News is reporting that "Edmonton police say two teens are in hospital, and a youth has been charged following a shooting in southwest Edmonton. EPS says around 1:20 p.m., officers responded to a weapons complaint outside a shopping centre near Saddleback Road and 27 Avenue. Reports also indicated that gunshots were fired from a vehicle, which fled the scene."
Two teenage boys — a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old — were reportedly struck and were taken to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Due to the proximity of the incident, Sweet Grass School was also temporarily placed on lockdown. Police note that one male youth, who was known to both teens, has been charged in connection to the shooting, and an investigation is ongoing."
The only way he could get illegal guns is if the shooter was invovled in the drug trade. Edmonton is Red and White.
