Riding today I noticed a dusting of snow on top of the local mountains. Wasn't there yesterday. However, yesterday I did notice some frost and some ice forming on a pond beside Mystery Peak. Last night I noticed it was 8 degrees and raining. Then I said wait a minute. That's the magic number. If it's below 8 degrees in Vancovuer then that rain is snow on the local mountains.
Right now it's 8 degrees in Vancouver and it's snowing as we speak on the mountains. Check out the Cypress webcam and the Grouse webcam. Notice the windmill on Grouse still isn't turning. The snow won't last long but it's a start.
