Of course they can. Atheists say Merry Christmas and they don't have any religion. I say Ramadan Mubarak and Salam Alaikum all the time to my Muslim neighbors. We also put lights up at Ramadan and have a really kool Ramadan inflatable. Love your neighbor, respect your neighbor. People who can't respect their neighbor can't respect themselves. Love thy neighbor as thyself.
I see people are still scouring the Internet for examples of extremism to justify their extremism. What a miserable life. The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of peace, of tolerance and of love. He who knoweth not love knoweth not God for God is love.
In the spirit of peace we fondly remember Yitzhak Rabin and denounce the brutal atrocities of Netanyahu who benefited from his murder and defiantly disobeys the Jewish commandments to vex not the stranger that sojourneth with thee.
