We attended the Surrey Youth Orchestra's 50th Anniversary last night. It was magnificent. High School band is high school band but when you add a sea of strings it becomes a symphony. Brass, woodwinds, strings, it all comes together.
It's like when Martin Luther King said "With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of this nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood."
They had all the groups on stage for the finale and it reminded me of one of the finales from the old Blaine Jazz festival where they'd have all the groups perform sing sing sing together. It was very impressive.
What I saw last night represented a whole lot of work. Young kids who don't spend all their time scrolling and blazing. Young kids who practice and spend their time doing something constructive. This is something worth supporting.
Kind of topic Alberta news is reporting that Satan choice is expanding in Alberta is this true ? Also could this lead to a biker war between hells angels?
ReplyDeleteNo and no. You must be referring to old news. They did start a chapter in Edmonton but their rapid Canadian expansion is seeing a rapid Canadian collapse with chapters in Canada folding faster than they open with people posting videos online of them burning their SC patches.
DeleteThe recent news is that because the SC house of cards is collapsing in Canada, Harley G announced that's he's stepping down as National President to focus on foreign expansion. Which makes no sense whatsoever.
As for a biker war with the Hells Angels, that's a definite no. Harley Drama Queen Q would rage on a couple of members in Ontario over social media who were behind him losing his patch. Yet he himself made it very clear it was not a war with the club collectively. He still performs with Tony Terezakis' son Icarus who is a full patch Hells Angel from the Greece chapter tied directly to Damon Ryan and the Wolf Pack.
So as I keep saying, SC is a CSIS club tied to the Wolf Pack.
