Safe Supply and the Nanaimo OPS

This morning on the radio a freak was going off about safe supply. "We need more safe supply. If anything we should be making more safe injections sites not closing down the Nanaimo OPS." That person was a mental retard and the fake news was deviously biased for pushing that offensive insanity.

The Nanaimo Overdose Prevention & Supervised Consumption site is causing horrendous problems. So much so the former NDP MLA mayor wants to build a fence around City Hall to protect staff from the violet addicts. That's crazy.

Shut it down. It was a failed experiment that has greatly compounded the problem. The fact that the fake news is still pushing this sh*t shows you how f*cked up they really are and it's not just the CBC. It's all of them. That's what happens with media mergers. You merge all the media into one or two owners, they become easily controlled and that agenda is clearly not in anyone's best interest.

It come back to Ken Sims. Ken Sims tries to address the problem and Sith Lords use the fake news to try and stop him. So we have Sith Lords trying to push the WEF Agenda and we have the fake news trying to push that nonsense as well.

It's not just the CBC. It's pretty much every mainstream media outlet. Post Media News owns Global now. Everything Post Media News touches turns the sh*t. CTV is pushing the same BS as well. It is a complete media meltdown.

Safe supply is a con. Anyone who uses that term is a con artist. There's no such thing as a safe supply of harmful drugs. You want to give addicts pharmaceutical grade heroin at the tax payers expense? That is evil and stupid. It will bankrupt our medical system. Oh right, that's what the WEF wants to do.

You want to give addicts pharmaceutical grade fentanyl? That is evil and stupid. Every time the fake news uses the term safe supply, turn it off! The fake news pushing this have no morals. Promoting addiction is not compassion. Promoting treatment is.

The fake news is promoting Anarchism and Communism. They have no credibility left. The fake news has become extreme.

It's like the police who rather ticket civilians than arrest criminals. Ticketing civilians may be easier than arresting drug dealers and violent addicts but it doesn't build public respect. People see the contradiction and it makes them angry. People don't support David Eby's nonsense, no matter how much the fake news tries to spin it. Creating ICE prisons is extreme but so it creating addiction anarchy. Both extremes are wrong.

  1. Post Media also owns the Surrey Now Leader. Long time Fleetwood resident here. A while back I submitted a news tip to the Surrey Now Leader about open drug use in Fleetwood. It never got published. None of the folks working there showed any decency to respond when I asked them why. I even joined a Facebook group a while back where people could have discussions regarding Fleetwood. Every time I made a post about criminals causing trouble in my neighborhood people kept attacking me left and right all because I’m angry at the way police turn a blind eye to open drug use. This is beyond ridiculous so I felt I had no other choice, but to simply leave the group behind. It’s just plain silly how we’re allowed to disagree yet you can’t even openly express your honest opinion without some people attacking you. Somewhere along the way you’re going to get some woke Nimrod’s who will tell you to simply “leave them alone, they’re other people‘s children“ and that we need to address the “root causes“. Frankly, I’m sick and tired of hearing about “root causes“ because that tells me people are more worried about criminals rather than innocent victims. Give me a break. We are not responsible for “other people’s children“. We are only responsible for our own children. I knew some people back in high school that didn’t make it to grad. They dropped out and became serious drug addicts and alcoholics. Ultimately, their parents were at fault because clearly didn’t bring them up right. Poor parenting is the main cause.

  2. There is a crime and drug problem in society today. The people in Ottawa in Victoria should deal with it. As for Fleetwood? Let’s not make it our problem. Meth heads are not welcome here in Fleetwood. It’s only a matter of time before these scumbags poison our children’s schools with all the crime and drugs that they bring.

  3. Wow! Never knew how bad the situation has become in Nanaimo. Surrey City Council in should put barbed wire fence around Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre. By far the worst facility in all of Surrey. It’s situated right near safe injection sites and homeless shelters by Gateway Station. Dangerous location for a recreational facility. I worked there many years ago and dealt with a lot of disgusting crack addicts coming into the facility, shooting up junk in the washrooms. You’d give these people a time limit and when they abused that limit, you’d knock on the door and tell them to leave. Then they’d cuss you out and you had no other choice but to contact police. The RCMP were fed up of all the calls they got on a daily basis and it showed. The management at that time had the mentality of a typical Canadian liberal: blame the crime on everyone and everything else but the criminals themselves. I confronted the higher ups and told them I’m not responsible for crack heads because I’m not a police officer, mental health worker nor security and to stop treating me as such. So I’m simply left them all behind. They’re no longer my concern. Haven’t looked back since.

    1. That sounds like similar problems they were having in public libraries east of here. There's still obviously a problem but it's way better since they cleaned up the Surrey strip. They finally offered everyone housing and said if you don't want housing you have to leave.

    2. Just my two cents but trying to beautify Whalley is like putting ribbon on a piece of garbage. You can put lipstick on a pig but at the end of the day it's still a pig.

    3. Actually that's not true. They said the same thing about East 42nd Street in New York and Giuliani transformed it. They moved Disney on the Deuce. Whalley isn't Whalley any more. There are still pockets of sh*t but they are facing gentrification. Now they're scattering to other areas.

    4. It sure has a long way to go in terms of redevelopment. As for Chuck Bailey, there are lots of other staff members that ended up leaving that site. It has the worst turnover rate. Most people don’t want to work there anymore because of the homeless/junkie problem in that area. Too much turnover within a short timeframe is no good for any recreational facility because it ruins the consistency and flow of programming. The City really needs to do a much bigger better job at keeping their staff safe and stop treating their workers like police, mental health or security guards given that they don’t get paid enough to deal with social disorder.
