Previously I had called the Vancouver courthouse and they told me the charges against Bill Majcher had been stayed so that is what I reported. Now I'm hearing from a third party that the charges haven't been stayed. They're trying to bully him into copping a plea but he has dug his heels in and said no. Good for him. I told you he was a patriot. Proceeding with this case after they were caught lying isn't punitive, it's treason.
OK now I get it. The charges were stayed in Provincial court because they filed an indictment in Vancouver Supreme court. His next court date is April 15th for an application to vary bail.
They did this as they knew the 18 month clock of Jordan (right to trial within 18 months of a charge in provincial court as a dual offence statute) had run out because he was charged July 18,2023. So by going Direct Indictment in the BCSC they can extend the Jordan clock until Jan of 2026.
This way they can hide their defeat until after the election.
