The Edmonton journal is reporting that "Police are seeking tips after a 39-year-old man died in an apparent shooting at a west Edmonton business on Tuesday morning."
The Ottawa Citizen is reporting that "A 41-year-old Gatineau man was charged Wednesday with three criminal counts after a woman was wounded Tuesday in a shooting on Dollard-des-Ormeaux Street in the city’s Hull sector. Philippe Mineault appeared in court on charges of discharging a weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon and violation of a prohibition order."
I always find it astounding that when someone shoots someone else with a gun, they are not automatically charged with attempted murder.
The Indo Canadian Voice is reporting that "On Tuesday, July 28 at approximately 3:44 a.m., SPS frontline officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 106 Avenue and 135A Street where one person was injured and the suspect had fled. Police located one female with minor injuries and evidence of shots fired."
The notorious Front Room Homeless shelter that serves as a drug den right beside the other HA drug den called the Lookout shelter is located at 10667 135 A Street. Imagine that.
